'Data breach' in London clinic brought forward Kate Middleton's cancer announcement, claims royal commentator
LONDON, ENGLAND: The announcement of Kate Middleton's cancer diagnosis was expedited due to a data breach at the London Clinic, stated royal commentator Michael Cole.
He said the announcement had already been in the pipeline for some time now and Middleton making her condition known would "shut up" the wild conspiracy theories regarding her well-being.
Prince William's 'strain' on having Kate Middleton at the forefront of his mind
The royal commentator told GB News that “the statement was very well delivered, very well dignified and absolutely appropriate," adding “It’s terrible news and my thoughts go the Princess herself and her family."
Suggesting Middleton's cancer diagnosis has affected Prince Williams, Cole said, “You can tell the strain has been telling for Prince William but it has always been at the forefront of his mind."
He speculated, “the alleged data breach may have brought forward what was going to be done anyway."
“Perhaps Princess felt that there could be a leak, maybe that brought this forward," he said.
'You can see how the strain has been telling on Prince William, although he's kept going, that's always at the front of his mind.'

Kate Middleton underwent abdominal surgery and it turned out cancerous
Middleton, 42, confirmed in a Friday, March 22, video that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous," she said.
“The surgery was successful, however, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I’m now in the early stages of that treatment,” Middleton added.

Prince William canceled the memorial of his godfather King Constantine of Greece after learning about Kate Middleton's cancer
On February 27, members of the royal family were set to attend a memorial service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor for the late King Constantine, who died in January 2023.
However, Kensington Palace released a last-minute statement revealing that Prince William, 41, would not be in attendance “due to a personal matter.”
A source told Us Weekly, "Kate went in for abdominal surgery and then they found out she had cancer. The day the family found out was the day William canceled going to the memorial of his godfather King Constantine of Greece.”
Queen Camilla, 76, formally led the British royal family at the service, stepping in for her husband, King Charles, who is also undergoing cancer treatment and has canceled most public-facing duties.

“The Princess will return to official duties when she is cleared to do so by her medical team. She is in good spirits and is focused on making a full recovery,” Buckingham Palace said, according to the statement.
It noted Prince William “will continue to balance supporting his wife and family and maintaining his official duties as he has done since the start of the year.”
Meanwhile, King Charles, according to a spokesperson has said he was feeling "so proud of Catherine for her courage in speaking [about her cancer diagnosis]," GB News reported.
It also said that following the King and the Princess' time in hospital together, the monarch has "remained in the closest contact with his beloved daughter-in-law throughout the past weeks."
The spokesperson also said that both the King and the Queen "will continue to offer their love and support to the whole family through this difficult time."
