Serena Williams looked like an Elysian goddess descending on earth as she donned a gold foil-laminated taffeta dress from the house of Balenciaga while attending the Met Gala 2024. The tennis royalty paired her draped dress with black pointed boots and opera gloves to bring attention to her dress. Speaking about her look to Vogue, she said, “It’s truly been an honor to collaborate with the talented Balenciaga team on such a memorable and glamorous piece,” and added, “This gown represents a collective effort to create something truly extraordinary, and I am immensely proud to be the one to showcase it.” Styled by Kesha McLeod, the Olympian completed her look with Messika jewelry.

Lindsey Vonn cut a chic look as she posed at the Laureus Awards in April in Madrid, Spain. The Olympics-gold medalist skier opted for an embellished floor-length dress over a white slip.
