While they impress their fans with awe-inspiring performances during the competitive games, they successfully dazzle with their sartorial choices outside the arena as well. 1. Serena Williams, 2024 Met Gala

Serena Williams looked like an Elysian goddess descending on earth as she donned a gold foil-laminated taffeta dress from the house of Balenciaga while attending the Met Gala 2024. The tennis royalty paired her draped dress with black pointed boots and opera gloves to bring attention to her dress. Speaking about her look to Vogue, she said, “It’s truly been an honor to collaborate with the talented Balenciaga team on such a memorable and glamorous piece,” and added, “This gown represents a collective effort to create something truly extraordinary, and I am immensely proud to be the one to showcase it.” Styled by Kesha McLeod, the Olympian completed her look with Messika jewelry.

She said during an interview, per Women's Health, "You go through waves of being more reserved, and waves of being a little bit more feminine and sexy," before adding, "It just depends on where you are in life."
