LITTLETON, COLORADO: A para-professional from Littleton Public Schools has been arrested after she was accused of assaulting a student with a disability. 28-years-old Kiarra Jones is facing charges of crimes against at-risk juvenile- third-degree assault and crimes against at-risk juvenile- injury per Denver Post

Jones, was seen assaulting a austisc child. Jones worked as a bus aide for children who have severe autism and non-verbal communication and were shuttled on the bus between home and the Joshua School.

What did Kiarra Jones do? 

A Video from March 18 appears to show Jones striking, punching and stomping on a 10-year-old boy whose name has not been identified. 

Due to the bus aide's alleged abuse of their children, three families have hired lawyers. The family attorneys assert that starting in September 2023, every family noticed noticeable changes in their child's behavior.

Speaking via their attorneys, the families also reported that they observed physical injuries on their children, including various bruises and scrapes on their bodies and feet, as well as a lost tooth, broken toe, black eye, and other inexplicable injuries. The arrest complaint for Jones includes surveillance footage from the bus that purports to show Jones stomping on a student's foot, elbowing a student in the midsection, and striking a kid in the mouth with a closed fist.

Jones was arrested on April 4 after the incident was reported to the Englewood Police Department by the Littleton Police Department on March 28. The Englewood Police Department continues to review video content to ensure all victims and crimes have been identified.

Jones was fired from Littleton Public Schools on March 19, the day LPS said the concerns were brought to their attention. She had worked for the school district since August 2023. Jones is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Arapahoe County Court on May 3 at 1:30 p.m.

Superintendent of Littleton Public School, Todd Lambert sent this letter to families most likely to be impacted by the alleged incident. 

The letter said, "This kind of behavior cannot be and is not tolerated. As parents, you trust us with the well-being of your children and you should never have to worry about them being harmed when they are in our care. "

Internet slams Kiarra Jones for her act 

Several users bashed jones for her act, with an Instagram user writing, "Shame on her." Another user wrote, "This is terrible..Lock up her." 

A user wrote, "bro this is so bad." Another user said, "That's so heartbreaking.. the poor kid wad not even doinh anything." A user wrote, "What the hell is wrong with her..stupid." 

Another user wrote, "Please keep her in jail for minimum of 30 years." A user wrote, "This is inhumane." 

A user wrote, "She should be served with maximum punishment."
