'AITA for confronting a man I met on dating app after he liked a misogynistic reel?'

The Internet is siding with a woman for confronting a man she was talking to after meeting on a dating app when she discovered that he had liked a misogynistic reel.
The discussion unfolded on Reddit’s "Am I The A**hole" (AITA) forum, where the original poster (OP) shared her discomfort after seeing problematic content on the man's profile and deciding to confront him directly.
Woman reveals she confronted a man she met on dating app after he liked a misogynistic reel

In the Reddit post titled “AITAH for sending him a very misogynistic reel he has liked and confronting him about it?”, the 22-year-old woman explained, “Hi guys, So I (22 F) have started talking to this guy, let's call him Jo (22 M), we matched on a dating app and our conversations were great and flowed smoothly.”
“After 3 days of talking over Instagram (we moved over quickly coz it wasn't comfortable chatting over the internal app chat), I decided to go over who he follows just to check there's nothing I should be worried about, there was a female dating coach (it just turned me off a little) and there was an influencer, the type that promotes alpha dominance and this type of s**t, I went through his content and saw a reel in which he said "women are like children, they can get manipulated very easily, just like Eve in Eden, that got manipulated by the snake (LMAO not this "proof"), so I don't let my woman make decisions, only I have the final word in my household,” the woman continued.
This immediately made the OP uncomfortable. She felt that she could not trust a man who engaged with that kind of content, so she decided to confront him about it directly.
“He said he doesn't "include all women" and that I'm different than all the girls he has talked with in the past (which is very 🚩), he said that he admires that influencer and that he believes if I listen carefully to what he believes I'll believe it too, he also mentioned that I cannot conclude from him liking the video that that's what he thinks about women (!?!) He said some women are childish, like, what are you implying?!! WTH....,” the OP added.

The woman told Jo that if these were his beliefs about women, things were not going to work between them. She concluded the post by saying, "My guy friend has told me that my behavior will leave me single forever and that my confrontation was inappropriate, should I have handled things differently?"
Internet backs woman who confronted man over liking misogynistic content
People on Reddit took to the comments section of the post and asked the OP to ditch the man and "run" as he is misogynistic.
One Redditor wrote, “Drop the dude AND drop your guy friend. They are both icky. NTA.”
Another remarked, “Eeeeew. NTA. Run and also lose that weird guy friend you have, he is just as misogynistic as this other dude.”

Another commenter wrote, “He believes if you listen closely to what he believes you’ll believe it too so he thinks you’re easily manipulated. NTA don’t waste any more time talking to this guy, he isn’t operating in good faith. spending words on him is just sinking yourself deeper into his bizarre reality.”

“NTA. Be glad you found this out early and RUN,” one individual summed it up.

“NTA. Good for you, first of all. Don’t let him gaslight and manipulate you. You know your worth - and he is not worthy of you,” another added.
