Angela Murray becomes first HoH on ‘Big Brother’ Season 26 amid rumors of her being a CBS plant

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Utah real estate agent Angela Murray has become the first Head of Household (HoH) of 'Big Brother' Season 26 but her dynamic presence on the TV show is being questioned.

Fans of the long-running CBS series are speculating whether she is a plant after her earlier stints on television were brought to light by avid viewers.

On her 'Big Brother' profile, the 50-year-old resident of Syracuse stated, “My strategy going into the Big Brother house will be really just being myself. Just unapologetic Angela and all that that encompasses,” as reported by TV Insider.

“That someone who does wear their heart on their sleeve, I do have a big mouth. I’m not afraid to share my opinions and thoughts whether people want it or not,” it adds.

But there is more to Angela Murray. Fans speculate that she is not just a houseguest but a plant by the show's producer CBS.

Internet sleuths also discovered that Murray is not new to TV and has made appearances on TV shows like ‘The Price is Right’ and ‘Let’s Make a Deal’.

An X user even shared on X, “Angela being on the price is right in 2019 is the lore I needed to learn today.”

Angela Murray was on 'House Calls with Dr Phil'

Angela Murray has achieved success in other TV shows as well. A YouTube video shows Murray on the set of ‘Let’s Make a Deal’ years ago where she even secured $20,000.

However, ‘Let’s Make a Deal’ is not the only show she has been a part of. Murray, along with her family, appeared in the first episode of the CBS docuseries ‘House Calls with Dr Phil’ a few years ago.

The episode went on air on August 18, 2021, as its summary stated, “Dr Phil visits a family in Utah where one teenage daughter hasn’t spoken to her father in five years and her sister in three years while living in the same house; their desperate mother reaches out to Dr Phil.”

The meeting ended on a positive note and Murray reportedly said at the time, “It was nothing short of a miracle, to be honest.”
