LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fake heiress Anna Delvey has not been invited for ABC's 'Dancing With The Stars' finale to avoid "drama that she could stir up," an insider recently told Radar Online.

Delvey and her dance partner Ezra Sosa were eliminated from the competition on September 24 and were one of the first contestants to leave the show.

Anna Delvey not invited to attend 'DWTS' finale

While explaining why the con artist was not invited to attend the season finale, the source said, "They just didn’t want the drama that Anna could stir up."

This revelation came after Delvey did not have a calm exit from the show as she had plenty of harsh words for producers. She told NBC News, "I feel that the show so obviously used me to drive up the ratings, that they never had any plans to give me any chance to grow and only cared about exploiting me for attention."

She added, "It was predatory of them to try [to] make me feel inadequate and stupid all while I did get progressively better yet they chose to disregard that."

During Tori Spelling's podcast 'misSPELLING', she further said, "You guys told me what I’m supposed to do. I tried to do it and then I still was rejected. And, I’m taking away nothing. This is what I’m taking away from it because your advice was worthless."

She went on to bash the producers and said, "I felt like, well, they were building me up. It’s like, oh, well, ‘Only if you smile more, only if you do like x y z. It’s going to be so much better for you.’ And it felt like they put so much effort trying to get me on the show, like, make me feel comfortable just to… eliminate me this early."

Anna Delvey thinks her 'DWTS' elimination was unjust

While talking with Spelling during the podcast, Delvey further said, "We are like the biggest losers 'Dancing with the Stars' has ever seen. They thought the blondes have the most fun, and they were just not about it,” indicating she felt they were unfairly judged."

Spelling added, "I honestly did not expect to go home the first show" as Delvey chimed in, "I did not expect you to go home either."

Delvey also talked about her concerns about connecting with the show's audience and said, "At first, I had concerns to be on the show because I was thinking what it's going to do to my image because obviously, none of the older audience can relate to me because of my past."

Anna Delvey faces deportation threat

Immigration experts suggest that Anna Delvey's legal troubles could soon overshadow her glittering new career despite her foray into the world of showbiz through 'DWTS', according to The US Sun.

Delvey served around four years in prison for theft-related charges. However, her deportation has been an ongoing saga since her release in 2021.

Her initial deportation was stopped when she refused to leave an ICE detention center to board a flight, according to reports from Der Spiegel.

She was then placed under house arrest in New York but was later permitted to travel to Los Angeles to participate in 'DWTS'. Ellen Sullivan, an immigration attorney with Cambridge Immigration Law, talked about Delvey’s legal situation and said that her deportation remains a strong possibility.

Sullivan said, "She is probably trying to get her criminal convictions overturned, and that may be the reason why deportation proceedings have not been completed yet."

Ellen said she has limited legal defenses "unless she could prove that she would be tortured in her home country."
