LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The ongoing rivalry between the fan bases of Nicki Minaj, known as 'Barbz', and Cardi B, referred to as 'Bardi Gang', is heating up.

The phrase "We Want Cardi" has started trending on Pink Friday, a day usually reserved for celebrating Nicki Minaj, further intensifying the feud.

This comes at a time when Minaj has just released her new album 'Pink Friday 2', sparking speculation about a potential world tour in 2024 and it's been trending on social media.

The last time Minaj toured was in 2019 during the 'Nicki Wrld Tour' with the late rapper Juice WRLD and fans are eagerly anticipating her return to the stage.

The phrase "We want Cardi" is competing on social media, standing toe-to-toe with the "Pink Friday 2" trend.

'Cardi B' has been denied entry into Gag City

With the release of Nicki Minaj’s new album, 'Pink Friday 2', her fans have taken to artificial intelligence to launch their unique marketing campaign.

They’ve conceptualized a vibrant pink universe called 'Gag City', which has caught the attention of various companies, celebrities, and even Minaj herself.

This fan-imagined world of Gag City is brought to life through images of towering structures, theme parks, and vivid pink commercial establishments, including renditions of brands like Chanel, Uber, and KFC.

'Pink Friday 2' is being promoted as a sequel to 'Pink Friday', Minaj’s debut album from 2010. The striking pink theme of 'Pink Friday', which spawned hit singles like 'Super Bass' and 'Moment 4 Life', is mirrored in the upcoming album's cover art.

The new album is said to contain tracks reminiscent of her 'Pink Friday' hits, including a song that Minaj herself described as having a "Super Bass vibe". This has further fueled the anticipation among her fans.

It appears that 'Cardi B' has not been granted access to Gag City. An AI-generated image trending online depicts a figure, seemingly representing the singer, waiting at the city's gates.

The ongoing rivalry between fans of Nicki Minaj and Cardi B has reached a new level of intensity, with the phrase "We Want Cardi" trending on Pink Friday.

"I can’t wait till Cardi Wakes up and sees all this love and support. WE WANT CARDI" a fan tweeted.

“Invasion Of privacy” and “ WE WANT CARDI” are now both trending on X (formerly Twitter) despite Cardi B not lifting a finger!' noted another.

"Nicki Minaj waking up to “We want Cardi” trending," one person joked.

A Minaj fan tweeted, "Just finished #PinkFriday2 and it’s a masterpiece. 10/10. No skips, all hits and vibes. My ears have been blessed."

"Unfortunately, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, Remy Ma and Lil Kim were denied entry to GAG CITY and had to return to their homes," added a user.

One user responded, "Pink Friday 2 is trash, obviously. It’s time for Nicki Minaj to retire, she was never a great rapper but now it’s so bad. Not a fan of either but Cardi B is significantly better lol."

"The Grabz wants to argue with me because I said “ Cardi 1 album is better than anything Nicki touched” but am I lying," noted another.

"Yes we want Cardi!!! Every day and any day over Nicki," said another.
