Barron Trump's former schoolmates reveal his bizarre protocols for bathroom and lunch: 'Very mysterious'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump, adhered to a set of odd rules while attending classes at the Oxbridge Academy, the Irish Star reported on Monday, January 27.
Barron Trump has been in the public eye since his father became president for the first time in 2016, and even more so when he was re-elected to the White House in November last year. Currently, he is enrolled at the Stern School of Business at NYU.
The 18-year-old went to school under the pseudonym of 'Jack' for security purposes. However, it was not the only unusual thing about him, according to his former classmate who spoke to the publication.
Barron Trump had security detail during bathroom visits
The source reportedly described Barron Trump as a fascinating individual who preferred to maintain some distance from the rest of his classmates. However, he was never alone as he would be surrounded by security personnel all the time, a former classmate told the Irish Star.
Barron allegedly had a security detail on him round the clock, to the point that he would be accompanied by agents to the bathroom where they would stand guard outside the door.
"He had multiple agents who would rotate throughout the day and there was always one with him wherever he needed to go," shared Barron's former classmate. "The agents would stand right outside the door during class. If he went to the bathroom, they would go with him and wait outside."
As a result of Secret Service agents shadowing him, Barron preferred to do most of his schoolwork online.
Barron Trump's bizarre lunch routine
Another friend of Barron Trump from his school told the Irish Star that the youngest son of the president preferred not to eat lunch at school.
"Barron always went to the lunchroom to sit with his friends but he never ate any lunch. He never specifically said why, just that he would wait until he got home to eat. It was a little unusual," shared the person, who also described Barron as kind of an enigma.
"He would start the most random conversations and could be very entertaining. He was also very mysterious. He never attended football games or dances. I don't think he met up with anyone outside of school or went on dates," the former classmate revealed.
They further added that it was a "shame that he didn't get to have a normal high school life like everyone else."
