BBC reporter alleges Kelsey Grammer’s interview was cut short after he showed support for Donald Trump

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actor Kelsey Grammer’s BBC interview was reportedly cut short after he showed his support for former president Donald Trump.

The claim has been made by BBC interviewer Justin Webb, who interviewed the actor, Page Six reported.

Webb alleged that it was Paramount+ representatives who did the trimming.

As per reports, Grammer spoke about actress Roseanne Barr on BBC Radio 4’s 'Today' program. He revealed that after the success of 2018’s ‘Roseanne’ reboot, he thought of rebooting ‘Frasier’.

During the interview, Webb then asked him, “You mentioned Roseanne early on, who had a great comeback but also was a Trump supporter. You were, at least you were, a Trump supporter. I’m fascinated to know if you still are?”

The ‘Boss’ actor replied, “I am and I’ll let that be the end of it.”

Later, Webb revealed to the listeners that Grammer “was perfectly happy to go on talking about it".

He, however, mentioned, “The Paramount+ PR people, less happy that he talked about it at some length.”

“They decided that we’d had plenty of time for our interview. But I should stress that he was absolutely perfectly happy to talk about why he supports Donald Trump and still does in the coming election,” Webb added.

Meanwhile, a lot of people have reacted angrily on social media over Grammer’s support for Trump.

An X user tweeted, “Kelsey Grammer announces the end of his acting career due to his support for Fascist Donald Trump Grammer wants to make sure Paramount cancels his contract so he can go drinking with Roseann Barr every night.”

The second user shared, “Kelsey Grammer BBC interview reportedly cut short as talk turned to his support of Donald Trump, makes sense to me the rest of the World know what a buffoon the Tangerine Maga Maggot is, it's just the lunatic asylum right-wing nut jobs here in America that don't seem to get it!”

The third user said, “I just added Kelsey Grammer to a growing list of actors that I will never again support, and will actively avoid all their works now.”

“This makes Kelsey Grammer a #TreasonousTraitor. He is now DEAD to me. I will never watch him again,” the fourth user stated.

The fifth user added, “@KelseyGrammer Kelsey Grammer should be blackballed in Hollywood for supporting Trump.”
