Bill Maher doesn't think Elizabeth Taylor was ‘gorgeous’ while claiming he won’t ‘make out’ with Jane Fonda
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bill Maher has clarified that neither the late Elizabeth Taylor nor Jane Fonda attracted him despite them being known for their beauty and grace.
The 68-year-old comedian told actress Sandra Bernhard on an upcoming episode of his ‘Club Random’ podcast, as reported by OK! Magazine that he never saw the late British-American as the “gorgeous” one.

He explained, “There are lots of things about her. I don't you know, I mean, I don't think she had a good body at all.”
Elsewhere during the podcast when Maher was asked about Fonda and if he would consider "mak[ing] out" with her, he replied, “You know, I know the politically correct answer is to say yes. And I'm sorry. I'm just not that cat and never I've been I have to be honest.”
The 68-year-old writer stated, “We should never castigate anybody for what their personal preferences, especially in that most intimate and personal of areas.”

Maher then revealed that he likes younger women but pointed out, “I'm just saying, in America, first of all, their idea about what is age appropriate is narrow, really narrow.”

“Like I've seen a ten-year age difference be talked about in the, you know, in the tabloids. This is like, well, there's you know, a ten-year age difference, a ten-year age difference,” he added.
Bernhard then reportedly said, “I can't believe you and I never dated for a minute,” to which, he mentioned, “Sandra, I expressed an interest in Washington, DC. What have you been doing for the last 40 years? I used to see you every night.”
Bill Maher does not like committed relationships or marriage
In the past also, Maher had spoken about his dating life and what he likes. The committed singleton reportedly said in 2019, “It’s just that I never understood how I mean I’ve tried to have relationships. I’ve been in love.”
“I’ve known some amazing couples but never understood how you can be with the same person just day after day week after week month after month year after year,” he noted.
In another interview, Maher reportedly shared, “I always looked at society and thought Oh people are golfing. I mean no one really could it but okay. I just feel like it’s there’s thing that people do to either get away from their spouse or because they’re not getting whatever like charges them up in a marriage.”
Once on Joe Rogan’s podcast, he elaborated on why he does not like marriage.
He added, “We’re married we seem very happy and then well we’re not happy and we’re gonna get divorced and then we’re gonna let’s just do it amicably and not getting lawyers involved, and then all falls apart and once it goes down that path that you’re talking about it just becomes as vicious as anything without guns.”
