For Dion, a return to Las Vegas represents her ultimate comeback.

“Nowadays, it seems like everybody from U2 to Elton John is doing Vegas residencies. But Celine is the OG — she paved the way,” an insider told InTouch Weekly.

“And she says she wants to return to show them how it’s done!” the source added.

From 2011 to 2019, Dion performed over 400 shows at Caesars Palace, building a legacy in the city that transformed her career.

Celine Dion's struggle with stiff person syndrome has been life-altering as the rare disorder has robbed her of much of her physical strength, limiting her movement and even her voice at times.

“There were dark days when she thought concerts would be impossible,” revealed a close source.

However, with a combination of medication and physical therapy, Dion has reached a point where she believes performing again is within her reach.

"But with medications and physical therapy, she’s at a place where she believes she can pull it off!” continued the source.

In December 2022, Dion opened up about her neurological disorder in a video posted on Instagram.

"I've had health problems for a long time and it's not easy for me to cope with them," she said of the disorder diagnosed in August 2022.
