Charlie Sheen's twin sons don't care that he's famous as star spends time doing 'single dad stuff'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Charlie Sheen acknowledged that his twins, Max and Bob, live with him full-time, and he spends the majority of his time doing "single dad stuff" with them.
Regarding the sons he shares with his ex-partner Brooke Mueller, "I've mostly been raising my 14-year-old boys," he said to a news organization.
"Their mom has been trying to figure some stuff out on her end, so she's not in the picture too much right now," as reported by Ok! Magazine.
Charlie Sheen gushes over 'really cool, really smart' sons
Sheen reported that the boys were doing well despite the upheaval in their living arrangements. "They're really cool, really smart, and really funny," he exclaimed.
All the screen time, though, is one aspect of parenting teenagers that he dislikes.
Charlie Sheen worried about teen sons' screentime
Charlie Sheen says as he laughs, "You know, the time spent worshipping their devices..." He added,"Although on the flip side, when they're doing that it gives me a little time to not be dragging them all over the city. But I also feel like the screens detract them from having other opportunities to expand their minds in other areas."
The actor, however, revealed that they're "into some cool stuff that isn't just Fortnite," adding that Bob is into movies and that Max loves to play the guitar. Bob even won a horror movie directing competition when he was just eight years old.
Regarding his profession, he claimed the twins don't appear to be fascinated by his notoriety.
He joked,"It doesn't matter. Whatever we're doing that might be important and connected to our job, or some high brow moment of responsibility, the kids don't care."
"The other day I was in the dental chair having a filling replaced, and Max comes up to me and asks me if I have a gift card for a game he wants to buy on his phone," he continued. "It's like, when has he ever seen me walking around with a gift card? I don't game!"
Charlie says he's 'not remotely connected to the gaming world'
He clarified, "I'm not remotely connected to the gaming world, other than trying to manage and supervise their time doing it."
Sheen is the father of two daughters, Sami, 19, and Lola, 18, with his ex-wife Denise Richards, and Cassandra Jade Estevez, 38, with Paula Profit, in addition to his boys.
