‘Cheap and unflattering’: Internet believes Kim Kardashian is wearing a wig as she debuts new blonde look

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian has been brutally mocked online after her new hair was revealed to the public.

The SKIMS founder’s hair was shared online by hairstylist Chris Appleton on his social media page.

He posted a few photos and a short clip of his friend while writing, “Babewatch.”

The images showed Kim flaunting white-blond hair with choppy fringes and layers in a body-hugging black dress.

Kim has been known for changing her hair frequently. One of her most recent dramatic changes was a pink-dyed short haircut, which she showed off in late April. Another look of the media personality that attracted a lot of attention was during 2022 Met Gala. At the time, she not only fitted inside Marilyn Monroe's iconic nude dress but also colored her hair bleached blonde.

However, it seems people were not impressed with her as many accused her of wearing a wig.

A person on Instagram commented, “She looks way way older with blonde.”

The second person shared, “I’m sick of her white hair… it’s not pretty.”

“Hahaha again with the hair. What is wrong with this girl? Hahaha 😆 every day she changes her hair,” the third one said.

A Reddit user remarked, as per The Sun, “She looks like a wig advertisement in the back of woman’s world.”

Another user noted, “Yes! I know they stay in wigs but this one looks cheap and unflattering.”

The third one mentioned, “The way I feel about this wig is how I feel about Kourtney’s skeleton sweatsuit, I never want to see it again.”

“Imagine being one of the hottest brunettes of all time and but you prefer to ruin your hair and your looks with that horrible blonde, I hate that,” the fourth one added.

Kim Kardashian called out for setting ‘unrealistic expectations’

This came after the mother-of-four was also trolled for her 2024 Met Gala look for which she donned a silver dress by John Galliano that featured a very tight corset.

She added a small gray cardigan to complete her look.

“Am I the only one who thinks it looks like there was a dress malfunction? & they added the cardigan to try and save the day,” a critic said.

Another critic’s response was “She looks tired and worn out.”

The third critic wrote about her unbelievably tiny waist, “This non-waist is not cute, natural or healthy.”

“Once again setting dangerous, unrealistic expectations for girls/ women everywhere. The Kardashians only purpose,” a comment read.

“The whole look is 🗑️ and a terrible example for her daughter. I sense an eating disorder coming,” a response read.

“Kim you need to go back to the dressing room. That look and the color of your hair is awful!” a comment added.
