Chris Brown asserts he is 'sick' of people bothering him
According to reports from the Daily Mail, Brown recently vented his frustration on his Instagram story, which has since disappeared from the platform due to its limited viewing duration. In his story, he alleged that he was disinvited to participate in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.
Brown, who was attending Men's Fashion Week in Paris, attributed sponsor concerns about his troubled history as the reason for his purported invitation and subsequent removal from the annual basketball event, as per the Daily Mail.
On his Instagram story, shared by the Daily Mail, Brown uploaded a screenshot of an email he purportedly received inviting him to the game that was scheduled for Friday, February 16, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Additionally, as reported by the Daily Mail, Brown also shared a picture of the blue uniform he would have worn as a member of Lil Wayne's team. The artist, known for his interest in numerology, stated that the NBA offered him a courtside seat, which he vehemently declined.
Expressing his frustration on social media, Brown wrote, "I was asked by the NBA to play in the all star game this year! Only for them to call later and say they couldn't do IT because of their sponsors like RUFFLES. At this point, I'm sick of people bothering me and I'm tired of living in the f***king past. I POSTED THE EMAILS SO YALL COULD SEE. The NBA still was tryna get me to come and sit court side... NOT F***ING HAPPENING."
Brown asserted that the NBA rescinded his invitation due to his past, including a 2012 nightclub brawl involving Drake and NBA star Tony Parker. Despite injuries, no charges were filed.
According to the Daily Mail, in the same year, he violated a restraining order by attending a Halloween party with Rihanna, dressed controversially.
Brown's struggles continued with diagnoses of bipolar disorder and PTSD in 2014, leading to jail time for probation violations. In 2021, police were called to his home after an alleged assault, according to TMZ and Los Angeles ABC affiliate reports.
