MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Laughter echoed through the 'Late Night' studio as comedian Chris Distefano joined Jimmy Kimmel on his late-night show on January 12 to discuss his latest comedy tour, 'Right Intention Wrong Move'.

The conversation delved into Distefano's life, family anecdotes, and the quirky incidents that inspired the tour's name, 'Right Intention, Wrong Move'.

'Your father overdosed on lasagna'

Distefano kicked off the interview saying, "Natalie Portman was just sitting here and now I'm here. I'm sinking into this couch a lot more than she did she was just weightless".

He continued, saying, "I feel fat today", as the conversation took a humorous turn as Distefano shared his previous night of indulgence involving tequila, weed, and "waking up with an Oreo brownie in his belly button."

As Distefano shared stories about his father's journey to better health, Kimmel asked, "How's your father doing is he currently incarcerated or un incarcerated?"

Distefano enthusiastically announced that his father is currently out of jail, a momentous achievement that elicited a congratulatory "good job, Dad" from the comedian.

The narrative then shifted to the topic of weight loss, and Stefano gleefully recounted the astonishing transformation his father underwent.

From a staggering 250 pounds, Distefano's dad managed to shed an impressive 60 pounds in just two months "just by walking," marking the first time his father dipped below the 200-pound mark since infancy, playfully referring to him as a "fat baby."

The American comedian then talked about a time when his dad overdosed on lasagna. He said, "My dad is a big eater. One time at Christmas, he ate an entire tray of lasagna, not just a piece, like an aluminum tray meant for 10 people. He ate it off the spatula into his mouth, no knife and fork. I told him he can't have the whole tray, and he said, 'My body, my choice'."

The story continued, as Distefano revealed, "About 2 hours later, he's having trouble breathing at my house. He blamed it on a Diet Coke, saying it gave him gas. We had to go to the hospital."

"The doctors initially diagnosed congestive heart failure, giving him a year to live. The next day, they called with unbelievable news: he ate so much sodium it fooled the machines. I asked the doctor, 'Have you ever seen that?' He said, 'I've never seen that. Your father overdosed on lasagna'," he added.

'Wombs are crazy'

Distefano then shared a delightful tale of his father's overenthusiasm when his first grandchild was born.

The audience chuckled as he told the story that went......"My wife's about to give birth, and my dad walks into the delivery room holding the New York Post newspaper. He just walks right in, saying, 'We're having a baby.' I told him he can't be in there; it's family-only."

He continued the story, saying, "Then he insists he's not family, but questions, 'What are you doing here?' I respond, 'I'm the dad.' I tell him to go outside, and he reluctantly agrees. As he's leaving, he casually adds, 'By the way, Yankees got rocked last night; they need to trade their whole pitching staff.' I chuckled and said, 'Alright, Dad, we'll talk about it later'."

However, when his baby was born, Distefano recalls, saying, "After the beautiful birth of my daughter, I excitedly shared the news with my Dad. He humorously questioned the outcome, 'It's still a girl?'. I reminded him of the gender reveal with pink confetti, but he shrugged it off, claiming wombs are crazy."
