Christian Norris and Angeliyah Webster: Couple found dead amid ongoing search since Valentine's Day

BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA: A dual investigation has commenced following the discovery of a missing couple, who were believed to be deceased, less than 24 hours later at a residence in the Wylam neighborhood of Birmingham as per abc3340.
According to the Birmingham Police Department, two individuals were discovered in the 4100 block of 10th Avenue in Wylam.
On Friday, February 16, 2024, shortly before 4 p.m., detectives located a white Ford Taurus matching the description of the missing couple's last seen vehicle, with deceased two individuals found inside the car.
The victims were believed to be the missing individuals 20-year-old Christian Norris and 20-year-old Angeliyah Webster.
Police discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds
Two individuals were discovered deceased from gunshot wounds at the scene, confirmed by authorities as victims of homicide.
They have been missing since the evening of February 14th. Their mode of transportation was a white Ford Taurus, identified by the license plate number A17N1B.
Norris and Webster were last seen on Valentine's Day around 5 p.m. in the 1500 block of 20th Place in the Ensley neighborhood.
The couple was believed to be en route to an unspecified movie theater in a white Ford Taurus.
Reflecting on the tragedy, Webster's brother Demarco Thomas remarked, "You ever had your heart just stepped on and went to the bottom of your stomach, yeah that's what that was like."
Investigators reveal the descriptions of missing individuals
Angeliyah Webster, who is allegedly pregnant, was last seen wearing black and white pants, a black shirt featuring skeleton and flower motifs, and black and silver footwear. Christian Norris was spotted wearing a black sweater and army-green shoes.
The police have established a contact number, 205-328-9311, for individuals who may have sighted the couple or possess any information that could aid in their safe return.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office will confirm the identities of the victims, while the police are diligently working to unravel the circumstances surrounding the crime.
Fitzgerald appealed to the community for assistance, stating, "We need to get the message to the public that as long as we keep quiet, people are going to feel emboldened to do violence the way they’ve been conducting, violence."
In response to this tragic incident, Fitzgerald emphasized the imperative of speaking out, particularly in a society where violence often goes unaddressed.
