DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: President Joe Biden’s climate envoy and former State Secretary John Kerry came under attack at the Climate Change Conference in Dubai for apparently producing his own wind power.

Kerry might have released a burst of wind energy on December 3, when the climate ambassador was talking about US policy regarding coal power facilities at the Climate Change Conference in Dubai.

Audience applauds John Kerry, seemingly unfazed

The former secretary of state was addressing Fatih Birol, executive director of the International Energy Agency, and Becky Anderson, managing editor of CNN Abu Dhabi, when a spontaneous cheer from the Bronx broke out in the middle of his speech.

Kerry began his statement: "There shouldn’t be any more coal-fired power plants permitted anywhere in the world."

"I find myself getting more and more militant because I do not understand how adults who are in a position of responsibility can be avoiding responsibility for taking away those things that are killing people on a daily basis…"

Kerry's views were interrupted by the gritty sound of gas emanating from the microphone. The audience applauded fervently, seemingly unaffected by the stage stunts.

Seated on Kerry's right, CNN's Anderson abruptly jerks her head away and discreetly puts her hand to her lips, perhaps in case there's an odor leaking into the climate panel.

Kerry continued, appearing to be ignorant of what happened: "And the reality is that the climate crisis and the health crisis are one and the same."

According to right-wing radio host Larry O'Connor of Townhall Media, Kerry's supposed "flatulence" is an embarrassment to the United States, per the New York Post.

O’Connor said, "The biggest problem is, during this entire exchange, representing us, The United States of America, he ripped a fart out. He let loose with flatulence on an international stage."

Connor further added, "John Kerry farted. He should lose his job immediately."

Internet trolls climate envoy for the supposed fart sound

Social media users took to X (formerly Twitter) and did not hesitate to attack Kerry for the supposed burst of wind energy while speaking about the climate crisis.

One such X user wrote: "It seems John Kerry should cut down on his greenhouse gases. A loud fart sound can be heard as John Kerry is lecturing about the #ClimateScam. You be the judge, did Kerry fart?"

A second one quipped, "Control your own emissions bruh."

"John Kerry might need to cut back on his own emissions." joked another user.

While continuing the online trolling, one more chimed in, "So, now we are learning, that John Kerry is personally responsible for more methane emissions than cows."

"He just destroyed the environment with his methane emissions What a clown," called out another X user.

Going a step ahead, one more snarked, "What’s wrong with a loud fart sound during a meeting? It wakes up those that are sleeping."

Another one added, "Flying in on private jets and contaminating the atmosphere with carbon dioxide and methane... talk about privilege."
