Crystal Hefner had to 'find fresh girls' for Hugh Hefner so she didn't have to be intimate with him alone
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hugh Hefner’s final wife Crystal Hefner is shedding light on her marital relationship with the Playboy mogul through her newly launched memoir ‘Only Say Good Things'.
In the memoir, the 37-year-old shares her experiences within the closed doors of the Playboy mansion, per Daily Mail.
Crystal, who has now reverted back to her maiden surname Crystal Harris after earning her PhD, has shared in the book how her husband would “have at least five girls” at the same time as they shared intimacy in their room.
Crystal Hefner admits she had to find women for her husband
Crystal, who married Hugh in 2012, when he was 86 and she was just 26, said it was a “relief” for her to find other women so that she would not have to be “sexual with him all alone.”
She wrote, “After the twins [Kristina and Karissa Shannon] were gone, it became my job to help find girls to come up to the bedroom at parties at the mansion, or on an increasingly rare night out.“
She explained, “It was a big part of the reason we still went out at all: for Hef to find fresh girls.”
Crystal went on to describe the process of finding girls, as she wrote, “Sometimes Hef would point someone out. Other times, I picked.”
Commenting on his preferences, she shared, “He liked to have at least five girls, and I knew what he liked. It was actually a relief to have other women up in the bedroom with me, to not have to be sexual with him all alone.”
She explained, “If these other girls were doing it, then I didn't have to.”
She shared, “And there were always so many girls eager for a turn in Hugh Hefner's bed, sidling up to me at every party, desperate to be picked.”
However, she admitted there was some dilemma. She wrote, “I felt torn - part of me wanted to turn them down for their own good. But I also knew it was going to be someone coming up, so it might as well be someone who really wanted to go.”
Hefner reasoned that they were consenting adults. “I trusted that as adults they were making their own decisions about their bodies, but I also felt a responsibility to make the whole experience exciting for them. Or if not exciting then at least not so awkward,” she revealed.
It was, however, a double-edged sword. While finding other girls ensured she would not have to face Hugh alone, it also urged her to protect her own place in the mansion.
She wrote, “Sometimes they would try to stick around, hanging on Hef and sucking up to him. There seemed to be an endless stream of women desperate to get into the mansion; it never slowed down.”
The vicious cycle of clinging to power
Crystal shared, “The more other people wanted what I had, the tighter I clung to it. When somebody stuck around for any length of time, I'd try to find out what they wanted. Girlfriend? Playmate? What?”
She even went on to ask a person what they wanted, as she wrote in her memoir, “It got to the point where I'd ask them, point blank. Surprised, they'd answer. "Uh, Playmate.”
Crystal shares her experience of her physical intimacy with Hugh Hefner
Talking about her sexual encounters, Crystal wrote, “Here I was in the Playboy Mansion, in Hugh Hefner's bed with Hugh Hefner inside me, beautiful naked women surrounding me, and there was nothing sexy about it.”
She continued, “This wasn't about making love. It was about power and control and leverage. It was a performance. I was auditioning for a part. I thought it was about my power.”
