Crystal Lynch was last seen on May 7 with Marquise Glasper at home
Lynch, a beloved mother of two, was last seen alive on May 7 with 37-year-old Glasper at their home on West Bank Gulf Road before being reported missing later that day by concerned family members.
Her mysterious disappearance has left the community heartbroken as the desperate search continues.
According to charging documents filed this weekend, investigators uncovered troubling evidence of foul play and signs that Glasper may have been involved in his wife's disappearance.
A key witness told police that Glasper had allegedly threatened to harm Lynch if she was cheating on him after he reportedly discovered she was having an affair.
Despite extensive searches over the past six months, there has been no sign of Lynch since that fateful early May day.
With few clues to explain the ongoing investigation and shocking murder charge, Lynch's family continues to agonize over her unknown fate.
Investigation found signs of clean-up attempt at couple's home
The investigation into Lynch's disappearance took a sinister turn over the summer as detectives searched the home she shared with Glasper and uncovered traces of blood in their bedroom and possible signs of a clean-up attempt.
According to court filings, investigators executed a search warrant in August and found blood evidence on the bedroom wall and floor, with possible bleach stains dripping down the sides indicating someone had tried to wipe the area clean.
Two hammers and a box of ammunition were also seized from the premises.
The disturbing blood traces and clean-up scene suggest the missing woman may have met with foul play inside the very apartment she called home.
However, with no body found, authorities face an uphill challenge to definitively prove a homicide occurred and establish a solid timeline of events leading to Lynch's disappearance.
For now, the evidence was apparently sufficient for a murder charge as prosecutors build their case against the prime suspect - the victim's own husband.
