Daughters shower 'Sister Wives's Christine Brown with special gifts ahead of her wedding to David Woolley

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Christine Brown received some wonderful presents before her wedding from her daughters. The ‘Sister Wives’ star got married to David Woolley last October 2023.

The episode of TLC's Christine & David’s Wedding Special, which premieres on January 7, gives a sneak peek into the newly bride’s daughters Aspyn, Mykelti, and Ysabel giving the special present.

"There's a tradition: something borrowed, something blue, something old, something new," Aspyn said in the clip. "Mykelti, Ysabel, and I all wanted to give mom stuff and we decided to base it around that tradition."

She added, "We wanted to give you something that will send you into this marriage on a good step, or a good foot."

Multiple gifts for Christine Brown

She gave Christine a pair of sparkly shoes with pennies stuck to the bottom, a German tradition, which expresses prosperity.

Aspyn presented a gold bracelet to her loved ones, engraved with the initials "C & D" and their wedding date. Additionally, she gifted her mother a set of earrings, the very same pair she wore during her marriage to Mitch Thompson in 2018.

Aspyn expressed, "All the sisters wish for Mom to have the grandest and most memorable wedding, so we made sure to provide her with everything she deserves."

Emotional Brown said after accepting gifts, "I knew my girls were excited about me getting married, and they're excited for David, I didn't expect them to be this excited. They're having a good time with me getting married."

A fairytale for the 'Sister Wives' star 

In an earlier interview with People, Brown talked about her upcoming wedding with Woolley. He said, “It's everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true.”.

Meanwhile, Woolley said, “She wants to be able to wear a white dress and walk down the aisle with her dad. She never got to do that on her first marriage. She wants all the bells and whistles.”

'Sister Wives: Christine and David's Wedding Special' will air in two parts on TLC starting January 7.
