As the investigation unfolded, deputies disclosed information about the two suspects and elaborated on the grievances voiced by the victim's mother.
For context, family members discovered the lifeless body of Holaway at his residence on Zelina Point.
The relatives had reported hearing several gunshots around 3 a.m. on the morning of December 19.
Upon checking on Holaway later in the day, they found him unresponsive in his bedroom and promptly dialed 911 as per Fox 35.
What did detectives report?
Detectives revealed that subsequent to their investigation, it was discovered that Alan Javon Morris, a 19-year-old friend of Holaway from Orlando, had been temporarily residing at Holaway's home for several weeks.
They noted a sequence of disagreements between Holaway and Morris in the days after Holaway instructed Morris to vacate the residence.
Detectives further disclosed that on December 19, Morris returned to the house and allegedly shot Holaway multiple times through a window.
On January 12, Friday, detectives carried out an arrest of Morris, acting on an active warrant for a single charge of first-degree premeditated murder.
Additionally, in a separate, unrelated case, he is also confronted with two charges of lewd and lascivious battery on a minor.
Another individual, 20-year-old Isaiah Crisp, identified as an alleged accomplice, has been apprehended and charged. However, no details regarding his involvement have been disclosed.
What did Conrad Holaway’s mother share?
As reported by Fox 35, the mother of Conrad Holaway asserted regarding Morris, stating, "He called me ‘Mom.’ He lived here. He wore Conrad's clothes. He laid in the spot where I found Conrad, Against my better judgment, I let him stay because I knew he had nowhere else to go"
Davis mentioned that Morris joined them for Thanksgiving and assisted in decorating their Christmas tree.
She also stated that she had been aiding him in the job search, and they had set a deadline of December 14 for him to vacate their residence.
However, on December 19, she recounted the unexpected death of her son.
Also she further mourned about her son's loss saying, "Conrad would do anything for anybody. He'd give the shirt off his back and never expected anything in return, There's just a huge hole in my heart and nothing can ever fill that because there's no bringing him back."
