PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Former president Donald Trump appeared visibly tired as he abruptly ended his appearance on loyal supporter Dan Bongino's video podcast on the morning of Friday, October 18.

The interview took place at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Yet he struggled to reach what seemed to be the intended conclusion of a more extended discussion and ended the live podcast abruptly sparking concerns over exhaustion and his cognitive health.

Trump did not have to leave his Mar-a-Lago building for a live-streamed interview on his friend and loyal supporter Dan Bongino's video podcast.

In the interview, Bongino and Trump covered topics concerning Trump's political perspectives, his supporter demographics, and Bongino's "super, extra MAGA" following. Nevertheless, the particulars of their dialogue were not widely disclosed, particularly as the interview was abruptly ended by Trump.

During a moment in the subdued interview, Trump shared his astonishment at how Harvey Weinstein, whom he referred to as the "king of woke," was severely impacted. This was among his final comments with Bongino.

Roughly 30 minutes into the interview at the Republican nominee's home, the 78-year-old abruptly stated, "I gotta get going," apparently unaware that their conversation was being broadcast live.

"But as no interview materialized, Shade Room staff began feeling that feet were being dragged inside Trump’s campaign. No date was ever set, we’re told, but the intention was to try and work toward a sit-down," Politico reported.

In response, a Trump adviser explained to The Shade Room producers the reason an interview had not yet been arranged, stating that Trump was "exhausted and refusing [some] interviews but that could change" at any given time, as per two individuals acquainted with the discussions.

Internet divided over Donald Trump's decision to end interview

Kamala Harris and her team criticized Trump following his sudden departure from the Friday podcast. The campaign posted the video on platform X captioning it as, "Trump abruptly ends his live interview after it is reported that he is canceling interviews because he is “exhausted”: “Off the record, I gotta get going.”"

Following the interview's conclusion, netizens expressed concerns regarding the former president's health.

A user asked, "'Is Trump okay?' Confusion as 'exhausted' ex-president abruptly ends friendly interview."

Another added, "Old Man Trump Too "Exhausted" for Interviews-and His Team Is Panicking."

Another commented, "Hope he's okay."

"He’s too old to be running our country. We need age limits in place for our Presidential candidates-he’s a prime example why," said a critic.

A person claimed, "Trump is old, weak and tired. How is he supposed to run the country? We need young leaders with fresh ideas."

Another posted a picture of Trump holding a sign board that reads, "I'm exhausted! Vote for Harris!!!" the user captioned the post, "The old man is done."
