During a recent interview with Jesse Watters, Conway, known for her strategic role in Trump’s previous campaign, shared that she had advice for her former boss—particularly concerning his choice to forgo another presidential debate, as per OK Magazine.

"I asked President Trump today, we interviewed for an hour, and I said to him, ‘The guy I know — you — is not going to be able to sit down after a 90-minute VP debate and let that be the last word in presidential debates. You’re going to say, well, when is our next one?'" she shared with Fox News host Jesse Watters.

Conway's remark addressed Trump's decision to abstain from additional debates, despite having faced off against Vice President Kamala Harris earlier in September.

She continued, "He had said no, but he didn’t say totally no. That October 23 one with CNN’s too late. But why not get back in there?"

“Trump’s like, I told him, you’re like Shohei Ohtani, you’re pitching, you’re batting. You’ve done seven of them. She’s 1 for 1 — big deal,” she added.

Trump and President Joe Biden squared off in a debate in June, but it was his September 10 debate against Harris that sparked significant controversy.
