Trump splits Internet as he claims he doesn't believe in ‘alien life’, insists government not hiding info
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a podcast released on Thursday, June 13, former President Donald Trump contemplated the existence of alien lifeforms, admitting the possibility but expressing his skepticism.
He featured on YouTuber Logan Paul's 'Impaulsive', dedicating time to discuss the potential of extraterrestrial life and the nature of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) as possible alien encounters.
Donald Trump expressed his belief in existence of unidentified aerial phenomena
While speaking with Logan Paul, Trump said, “Am I a believer? No, I probably I can’t say I am. But I have met with people that are serious people that say there’s some really strange things that they see flying around out there.”
Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) have sparked intense discussions in Congress over the past year.
A bipartisan group of House members has been interrogating the military about possible concealment of evidence related to alien activities or highly advanced technology.
Logan Paul echoed concerns regarding government transparency, which Trump dismissed, The Hill reports.
Trump stated that during his presidency, he devoted considerable time to investigating these phenomena and expressed his belief that government agencies are not withholding information from the public.
“They have people that are very smart and very solid [who] have said they believe there was something out there and, you know, it makes sense that they could be,” Trump said.
He added, “I’ve never been convinced, even despite that, you know. I just, for some reason, it’s not my thing. But a lot of people believe that it’s true. A lot of very good, solid people believe it’s true."
Donald Trump acknowledged possibility of alien existence
A March Pentagon report stated there was "no evidence" of the US government or private entities reverse-engineering alien technology, and no confirmed sightings of UAPs of extraterrestrial origin, which contradicts claims by high-profile whistleblowers made without evidence.
Additionally, Trump highlighted that although he does not personally believe in aliens, he acknowledged the possibility of their existence.
“It’s very believable. It’s very possible that there is something,” he said.
“And why wouldn’t it be, you know, you take a look at the universe, and you see all of the different planets and you see this, you know, look at, we are one relatively small planet, why wouldn’t it be on a planet that’s, you know, 400 times the size?” Trump questioned.
Internet believes in existence of aliens
As soon as the news went viral on social media, users started reacting to it. A user said, "Donald Trump knows if there are aliens or not. It could be their way of trying to break it in slowly. I believe they exist. God created all of us. I'm sure there are other life forms out there. Not just humans."

I don’t care what people say
The third commentator added, "It’s always been said that the government knows something and is hiding it. Wouldn’t surprise me if they hid it from Trump."

"I believe they exist. Pretty naive to think we’re alone in the vast universe. We still don’t know that much about the universe either," one said.
