LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: MSNBC's 'Deadline: White House' host Nicolle Wallace raised concerns over Fox News' selective coverage of former President Donald Trump's Las Vegas rally speech, characterizing it as a "slow-moving scandal," during the Monday, June 10 episode.

She highlighted various notable moments from Trump's speech, including his complaints about a malfunctioning teleprompter, threats to withhold payment from contractors responsible for its setup, and a bizarre tangent involving sharks and electric boat batteries.

In the episode, Wallace criticized Trump over his false statements, saying, "The endless stream of lies ... It is not just lies and disinformation. They're lies that sit at the fulcrum of dangerous violent extremism and a dangerous escalation that people will act on the rhetoric and the things he says."

Expressing disappointment in Fox News' decision not to broadcast the speech in full, Wallace, a former White House communications director under President George W Bush, who now identifies as a "self-loathing former Republican," emphasized the importance of transparency in media coverage.

"The slow-moving scandal, in my view, is that Fox News isn't broadcasting this anymore, that was not aired in its entirety," remarked the journalist.

She added, "I actually heard from someone who was watching Fox looking for it. It wasn't on, and they were wondering why. We rolled the tape, and I wonder what you think is going on with Trump."

Former GOP strategist Stuart Stevens predicts Donald Trump's political fate

Former GOP strategist and co-founder of the Lincoln Project Stuart Stevens joined the discussion, acknowledging Fox News' potential efforts to conceal certain aspects of Trump's rhetoric but predicting that as the election approaches the differences between the former president and President Joe Biden will become increasingly apparent to voters.

Stevens expressed confidence in Biden's prospects, suggesting that as the election draws nearer, more Americans will recognize the stakes involved and ultimately favor the incumbent over Trump.

He remarked, "I think Trump is like a guy walking around with a paper bag full of water. It's probably not going to leak that much. When it goes, it's going to be hell to pay to get it back. I think that's where he's headed," as per Raw Story
