LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: New footage of Ian Ziering's biker brawl has reportedly come out, showing it was the actor who first hit a biker, resulting in the fight.

As per earlier reports, the ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ alum was attacked by a group of bikers on December 31, 2023, while he was driving with one of his minor daughters.

Ian Ziering allegedly got in the first punch

However, as per TMZ, a video shows that after being blocked on Hollywood Boulevard because of another car, Ziering left his Mercedes and threw a punch at one of the two bikers who came in between his vehicle and another one.

The violent interaction led to the skirmish, involving more members of the 605 Minibike Gang.

The new recording has reportedly been made from a different angle, but it's not confirmed yet if there is something more to the story before this video was taken.

‘These hoodlums shouldn't be on the road’

The video has attracted mixed reactions online with a Facebook user commenting, “Why would he get out of his car leaving his daughter in there with the window open? Not great parenting in my opinion.”

Another user wrote, “I wonder why they would all go after him …… I don’t think he’s as innocent …… the bikers must have a say.”

A third shared, “He was only attacked after he assaulted one of the bikers! He should have thought more about his daughter and her safety.”

“If these guys are so innocent, why are they wearing masks, I call BS on their whole story, I've seen groups like this raising hell. I'm sure they provoked Ian,” another stated.

A user added, “Dumb move on his part. Especially with his daughter in the car. It could have ended much worse.”

However, some supported the 59-year-old actor.

A fan said, “Bikers especially in California are fn idiots. Cause more problems on the road and then they get run over by semis or thrown under someone's car because they weave in and out of traffic. They are the douchebags of the road.”

Another wrote, “I can probably safely guess that the biketards did something that was dangerous and he got extra pissed bc his daughter was in the car. Punching people with your kid in the car isn't a smart thing to do but I do know the rage fathers get when someone puts their kid's life in danger.”

A comment read, “Doesn't matter..these hoodlums shouldn't be on the road terrorizing other motorists..they don't even have plates on them.”

‘My daughter and I are both completely unscathed’

This came after on January 1, Ziering posted a lengthy statement regarding the incident on his Instagram.

He shared, “Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes. While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation.”

The TV actor continued, “In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself.”

“I am relieved to report that my daughter and I are both completely unscathed, but the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing boldness of such groups who disrupt public safety and peace,” Ziering added.
