Eyewitness Bret Watson recalls Liam Payne’s tragic fall
Bret Watson told the outlet, "I was meeting our wedding planner. We had gone up to the room and happened to be looking out of the window of our hotel. We saw Liam fall."
Watson said his room was on the first floor and added, "We immediately rushed out on the balcony to see what it was and when we looked down we could see it was Liam lying on the ground. He landed face up so we could tell right away it was him and he was motionless."
The witness seemed upset while recalling the horrific incident. He added, "I don’t have a medical background but from what I saw it looked like he passed away on impact. Time stopped or slowed down immediately."
Moreover, Watson said that he and his wedding guests had witnessed Payne's erratic behavior throughout the day, claiming he could tell he was becoming more and more intoxicated as hours passed by, according to OK Magazine.
He added that he even saw Payne's final interaction with hotel staff — which involved employees carrying the late pop star by his arms and legs from the lobby back to his room where he was left alone, accordimg to the outlet.
Watson continued, "Seeing anyone just fall like that is heartbreaking but being able to see it happen and hear the impact on the ground which was more haunting than seeing him fall."
The eyewitness concluded and said that the incident was something that he would never forget. He said, "Seeing the immediate aftermath is something that is burned into my brain and I will never forget and I am still working through processing and understanding everything we saw."
Waiter reveals he took cocaine with Liam Payne in hotel room
A 24-year-old Argentinian waiter named Braian Paiz revealed shocking details about his time with Liam Payne just days before the singer tragically fell to his death from the hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.
He told TMZ, "They say I’m the dealer, that I carried drugs, that I sold them. And the truth is that no, no I didn’t sell them."
Notably, while Braian admitted he and Liam did cocaine and knocked back whiskey together, he insisted he wasn’t Liam’s drug supplier. Their friendship began when Payne walked into the restaurant where Braian worked. The two apparently bonded over their shared love for drawing.
Moreover, Braian painted a wild picture of what Liam’s hotel room looked like. He told Telefe Noticias that drugs were scattered "everywhere", tucked into a Dove soap box and wrapped in tin foil.
Hotel staff reveals alleged requests Liam Payne made in bombshell texts
Liam Payne’s tragic final hours had been revealed in a new report that claimed that the late singer asked for alcohol "all the time" and also inquired about cocaine just hours before he died in a hotel in Argentina.
The shocking revelation took place through WhatsApp messages from Esteban Grassi, the chief receptionist of CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, where Payne died in October, according to The Mirror.
Notably, Grassi is one of the five suspects who have been under formal investigation following Payne's death.
The Mirror, citing Argentinian news portal Todo Noticias, stated that one of the messages on Esteban Grassi’s phone, sent by a person registered as Santiago Benitez Bellboy AM, read, “Hello Esteban how are you? Sorry for bothering you but I wanted to let you know about a little situation I had with the person in room 310.”
It said, "When I went to hand him a guest amenity and welcome him to the hotel and Argentina, he invited me into his room (which was a complete mess) and asked me if I could get him cocaine."
Moreover, Bellboy AM also revealed in his message that Payne called him "useless" after he did not adhere to his request.
