Robach believes that ‘The View’ star might be axed from her job for lending support to her when the story of the ‘GMA’ star’s affair with Holmes broke out.

Amy Robach reveals her concern for ‘The View’ star Sara Haines

The ousted ‘GMA’ couple started the podcast by talking about their past year's struggles after getting fired from the morning show.

The duo provided a detailed account of how Holmes sent distressing texts to Robach, using past tense language, while Robach expressed a desire to escape and avoid the next headline about their relationship.

However, during the latter half of the episode, Robach recalled her friendship with ‘The View’ star, Sara Haines and praised her for consistently "checking in" on her after the scandal broke.

“You know who your friends are, and you definitely find out who your friends aren't in these types of moments," Robach said before specifically mentioning 'The View’ co-host.

"One of the people who just started and wouldn't stop texting me even when I didn't respond, Sara Haines. She was an absolute pleasure. She said, 'I'm gonna keep texting you. I'm gonna keep checking in on you. No matter what,'" the ex-‘GMA’ star gushed.

"They're probably going to fire her after this airs," Holmes laughed.

Robach agreed, confessing that she feared Haines could face repercussions from ABC for supporting her.

"I know, that's what I was afraid of. I'm like, I think it's positive, but maybe it won't be positive for her. You also worry about, like, I don't know, being connected to us may somehow bring you down, so I don't want to necessarily do that, but she was incredible," Robach said.

“She and I have been friends for 15 years. We go all the way back to NBC, and she just — and honestly, someone who still works at that network to keep checking in, to keep calling, to actually be seen in public with me, that is a statement. That is something. That does show incredible support.”

She said, “If you can live with yourself for that, and it’s a one-time fling or something like that, I'm sure there are ways you can get around. But the most important thing is if you start to fall in love with people and you change how you are at home.”

"The example you set (becomes) your kids understanding of how to love someone,” Haines concluded.
