Ex-Scientologist Leah Remini claims Tom Cruise plans to ‘lure’ daughter Suri into contentious religion
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Suri Cruise, or Suri Noelle as she likes to be called, has had a tense relationship with her famous father, Tom Cruise, since her parents divorced in 2012. At that time she was only five years old.
Several sources claimed that Suri and Tom have had little to no communication for at least 10 years and have "no relationship". However, since Suri is now 18 years old, some believe he would try to make amends.

Being a graduate of New York's LaGuardia School, whose alums include Timothee Chalamet and Jennifer Aniston, Suri has been the center of attention.
She is a stunning, well-liked, outgoing person who studied music at LaGuardia University. However, she's leaving New York and her mother's loving arms to pursue a fashion degree at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Every mother understands, though, that this is also the time when a child begins to move away from them and forge their own path in life.
For this reason, some have speculated that Suri might be influenced by her father Tom Cruise, 62, whom Katie Holmes, 45, has long attempted to keep at a distance.
However, now that Suri is 18, some believe Tom might try to reach out to her.
"I’m sure [Cruise’s] master plan is to wait until Suri gets older so he can lure her into Scientology and away from her mother," actress Leah Remini, who left the religion, said as she warned that Katie should be on the lookout for her, per Daily Mail.
Tom Cruise is an outspoken advocate for the Church of Scientology, of which he has been a part for almost 40 years.
Remini, the once-religious member-turned-vocal critic, had previously said that given her encounters with Scientology, she believes Tom has held off on bringing Suri into the religion until she is older.
"Scientology considers Katie a suppressive person which is an enemy and therefore Tom believes, like all scientologists, that he can't be connected to Suri," Remini, 54, previously explained to the New York Post.

Baby Suri was born in a Scientology-directed 'silent birth' in 2006 and was introduced to the world with a Vanity Fair cover story six months later.
Over the years, there have been multiple indications that Tom and Suri are no longer on good terms.
Firstly, they last were spotted together in the summer of 2012, when Tom took Suri and his other two children to Disney World in Florida for some quality time as father and daughter.
Now that Suri is officially an adult and heading off to university, it doesn't seem like she and the 'Mission Impossible' star will ever be reunited.
Rumors of Tom and Suri's potential distance developed in 2012 after the 'Top Gun: Maverick' actor did not show up for his daughter's first day of school, per The List.
Unfortunately, their relationship only became more tense when Suri approached her preteen years in April 2016.
Suri celebrated her 10th birthday in New York with friends and relatives, as reported by People, and her now-estranged father was nowhere to be seen.
Given that Suri has allegedly been estranged from her father for most of her life, it is evident that Tom missed several significant events in his daughter's life.
He was also conspicuously absent on her 18th birthday in April 2024.
Similarly, Tom was not present for Suri's high school graduation or senior prom, which might have led to the intensely private teenager cutting off her final connection to her father, who she no longer contacts.
Additionally, it was revealed in the school's graduation program that Suri decided to drop her popular last name in favor of only 'Suri Noelle' in an apparent jab at her estranged father, and as respect to her devoted mother, per Page Six.
