TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA: Former Governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley was pounded by some tough questions from the hosts of the fourth GOP Debate, especially by Megyn Kelly.

Bringing up the subject of donors to their respective campaigns, Kelly asked Haley about her past affiliations with Boeing and the aspect of many billionaires ready to donate and endorse her in the race to the White House.

Kelly also brought up Haley’s recent meetings with America’s biggest financial companies, asking her whether she could win over the “GOP’s working-class base”

Haley disclosed that she’s willing to take “support from anybody” which didn’t sit well with many on the Internet. The angry social media users decided to make their voices heard.

Former Fox News star and co-host of the fourth GOP debate, Kelly bombarded Haley with a question about donations to her campaign.

She said, “You’re reportedly worth $8 million thanks to lucrative corporate speeches and board memberships like you had with Boeing. “

Kelly revealed, “Weeks ago you [Haley] met with Wall Street heavyweights, including leaders from JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and Black Rock. Several other billionaire investors are reportedly ready to endorse you or recently have, all of which comes with expectations.”

The veteran journalist then posed the bigger question to Haley and asked, “Aren't you too tight with the banks and the billionaires to win over the GOP's working-class base which mostly wants to break the system, not elect someone beholden to it?”

Haley smiled and responded, “In reference to donors coming on board, we will take support from anybody we can take support from but I have been a conservative fighter all my life”

However, after giving statistics about making her state better, Haley mentioned that her policies take the foreground when it comes to corporate donations.

“When it comes to these corporate people that want to suddenly support us, we’ll take it. But I don’t ask them what their policies are, they ask me what my policies are and I tell them what it is.”

Despite Haley’s answer, the Internet found it hard to believe her.
