Fox News host Raymond Arroyo found himself in hot water after making racially charged remarks about the black voter support for former president Donald Trump. The controversial remarks were made in reference to Trump's newly launched gold 'Never Surrender High Top Sneaker'. The former President announced his new line of merchandise at the Sneaker Con in Pennsylvania on February 17. As per The Daily Beast, Arroyo linked this with Trump's black voter support, saying, "This is connecting with Black America because they love sneakers! They're into sneakers… this is a big deal, certainly in the inner city. So when you have Trump roll out his sneaker line, they're like, 'Wait a minute, this is cool!'" This led to widespread online trolling against both the Fox News host and the golden sneaker.
