NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News anchor Sean Hannity recently shared a report that spoke about how President Joe Biden is close to setting a new record, and the internet is far from impressed at this achievement.

The "record" being discussed by Hannity is the existence of “more government jobs than ever before in US history.”

According to numbers shared by the Fox News anchor on his official website, there were 49,000 government jobs added in November, amongst which 32,000 were local and 17,000 were federal.

As Biden edges closer to setting a “new record,” the internet has shared its disappointment with the same as Hannity reports on “Biden Bloat.”

Sean Hannity sheds light on government job stats

On X, formerly known as Twitter, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity wrote, “BIDEN BLOAT: Joe Close to Setting Record for Most Government Employees in U.S. History.”

The same was shared on Hannity’s official website where the Fox News anchor shared more details about the statistics that follow this upcoming “record.”

Hannity quoted The Daily Caller which initially reported on government jobs. After 49,000 government jobs were added in November, the total number of government employees came to 22,967,000. These stats were taken from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

In the previous months, the government added 65,000 and 63,000 employees in October and September, respectively, and according to the statistics shared, if this consistent trend continues into December, the number will exceed 23 million, which will be a record high.

Internet reacts to Joe Biden’s possible ‘record’

After Fox News anchor Sean Hannity spoke about how President Joe Biden is close to setting a record for “most Government employees in US history,” the internet showcased its disappointment towards Biden in response.

One user mocked, “Yes because what we really need is an increase in government workers. That will definitely improve everything,” and another wrote, “Half never show up to the office.  The half that do show up don't do anything either.”

“And for the most wasted money by a pres. in history,” wrote one user, and another said, “Terrible.”

Biden continued to face backlash following Hannity’s report on X as one user wrote, “And I know from personal experience that 50% of them do one job every day of the week and nothing else the rest of the time,” and another shared a gif that read, “Why does he keep doing that?”
