NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News anchor Sean Hannity contended that there is “enough evidence” to warrant a trial following the House Oversight Committee's discovery that Joe Biden received direct payments from a business associated with Hunter Biden.

Hannity is raising concerns about Biden's credibility, questioning why the president denied ever discussing business deals with his son.

The host also claimed that Republican leaders aim to hold a vote to initiate Biden’s impeachment inquiry.

Following this news, Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to share this with his 6.4 million followers.

However, the internet did not respond positively to Hannity’s tweet as several X users took a brutal jab at the host.

Sean Hannity claims ‘there's enough evidence’ for a trial against Joe Biden

Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “Biden’s reelection bid defies all logic.”

He posted another tweet featuring the same monologue, “This reeks of corruption.”

In his monologue, Hannity began by slamming Joe Biden after he stated the downfall in his poll while Donald Trump was leading.

He said, “Poll after poll, as of now, President Trump is now beating Joe Biden in a hypothetical rematch by a pretty significant margin at this point. Many polls show it. One key reason for the numbers is Trump's willing and able to participate in a real town hall and passionately answer important questions of our time.”

Hannity continued, “Biden, meanwhile, he can barely answer 2 or 3 pre-selected questions without imploding. Sadly, the president's mental condition is likely going to get worse, not better. As it stands now, Joe is not doing well.”

He slammed Biden over his gaffes adding, “Over the weekend, he looked really, really bad yet again, despite a very light workload. The president still managed to struggle mightily.”

Hannity then went on to discuss James Comer’s statements on Biden and his son Hunter.

He said, “Now, according to newly unearthed bank records subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer, not only did Joe Biden discuss his son's business ventures, but he also received direct payments from one of Hunter's corporations.”

Hannity continued, “Now, Hunter Biden's attorneys claim that their client was merely paying his father back for a truck that Hunter financed. But keep in mind that these 2018 payments were not made from Hunter's personal account. Instead, one of Hunter's many, LLCs deposited the money into Joe's account, an account used to conduct business in China.”

Hannity accused Biden of “lying” as he asked, “So why did Hunter pay his father from a business account? And why did Joe lie about ever discussing business deals with his son, his brother, or anybody for that matter?”

Fox News host continued, “Remember, Congress has a sworn duty to uphold the US Constitution and check the executive branch. And now there is more than enough evidence for a trial.”

He added, “For once in his life, Joe Biden has got to be held accountable. If Democrats truly believe that foreign interference is a serious threat, like they've been lecturing us over and over again, that Russia collusion is a clear and present danger, then they will join with Republicans.”

“They will hold Biden's feet to the fire. Otherwise, all of their righteous indignation has been nothing but, frankly, show,” Hannity concluded.

Internet blasts Fox News host Sean Hannity for 'lying'

After Sean Hannity reported on his opinion about Joe Biden’s impeachment inquiry, the internet took a brutal jab at the host.

One person wrote, “Your continuous lying defies all logic, but you continue,” and another said, “Oh sweetie, you have never been good with logic or facts...”

An X user simply mocked Hannity adding, “Sean Hannity: pushy loudmouth,” and another had a similar opinion, “You reek, you piece of 💩.”

One wrote, “You reek of GOP sewage and diddlin materials.”

Another X user called out Hannity adding, “My god the level of pathetic to which you have sunk is off the charts Sean. $4,200 where Joe covered hunters car payments for 3 months and then was paid back. How can you even look yourself in the mirror?”

One more wrote, “No, that's you and your #propaganda network you're smelling, Hannity. And you know it.”
