NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Hamas has stated that the release of additional hostages is deemed unlikely after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu turned down the latest proposed terms on Sunday, as per The New York Post.

The terror group is now saying there is “no chance” for more hostage releases as Netanyahu turned down their latest terms to end the war.

Following this news, Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share this with his followers.

Many people on the internet supported Netanyahu and stood with his decision to reject the Hamas’ conditions.

Sean Hannity reports on Benjamin Netanyahu’s rejection of Hamas’ conditions

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “CONDITIONS REJECTED: Bibi Blasts Hamas Deal, Terror Group Says 'No Chance' for Hostage Release. NETANYAHU: “I reject outright the terms of surrender of the monsters of Hamas.”

Hannity’s tweet presented an article from his official website which reported that Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected Hamas' deal to end the war, as a result of which the terror group has declared that there will not be any release of hostages.

Netanyahu stated in a video, “In exchange for the release of our hostages, Hamas demands the end of the war, the withdrawal of our forces from Gaza, the release of all the murderers and rapists.”

He continued, “And leaving Hamas intact. I reject outright the terms of surrender of the monsters of Hamas.”

Sami Abu Zuhri, a senior Hamas official, responded by stating that Netanyahu's rejection of ending the military offensive in the territory “means there is no chance for the return of the Israeli captives” abducted in the group's October 7 terror attack.

In late November, a deal brokered by the US, Qatar, and Egypt led to the release of over 100 of the approximately 240 hostages taken by Hamas on October 7 in exchange for the release of 240 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.

Additionally, Netanyahu is under growing pressure to ensure the release of the remaining 136 hostages held in Gaza.

The relatives of the hostages demanded action as they gathered outside his residence. A relative said, “We need the government to now fix the problem that they have created and get these hostages home immediately.”

The Hostages and Missing Persons Families Forum has called on the prime minister to explicitly declare that there will be no abandonment of civilians, soldiers, and others who were kidnapped in the October incident.

The group said, “We must advance the deal now. If the prime minister decides to sacrifice the hostages, he should show leadership and honestly share his position with the Israeli public.”

Meanwhile, Netanyahu adopted a more assertive position on the matter of Palestinian statehood, stating, "I will not compromise on full Israeli security control of all territory west of the Jordan River."
