NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Jesse Watters reportedly took a jab at Al Sharpton following the civil rights leader's reaction on Claudine Gay’s resignation as Harvard President.

Watters claimed that Sharpton ‘cut his teeth lying through them’ while breaking down the racial tensions in America.

Following this, Watters took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share his take on Sharpton.

Apparently, several X users also slammed the leader.

Jesse Watters claims Al Sharpton ‘got more richer, America got more divided’

Fox News anchor Jesse Watters took to X and wrote, “EXCLUSIVE: Al Sharpton wants to revive D-E-I, the lifeblood of the hustle. So he started D-E-I Thursday's and Primetime showed up to say hello," referring to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs.



 

In his discussion, he said, “Sharpton cut his teeth lying through them. Sharpton knew how to use the mob, and he'd turn it against any politician or corporation he could to shake them down, and as the shakedowns continued, Sharpton's power and influence expanded like a tight tracksuit after lunch, but his mobs left mayhem in his wake.”

“He got richer, but America, more divided. Sharpton's mob became so volatile, Obama cut a deal with him and NBC commercialized him, put him on the payroll, and Al got leaner and a little less mean, but Harvard's firing of Claudine Gay is threatening Sharpton's gravy train.”

Watters continued, “DEI is on the chopping block, not just at Harvard, but everywhere. DEI is the lifeblood of the hustle.”

“Today, the reverend dusted off his bullhorn and picketed outside the office of one of Gay’s biggest critics, Wall Street manager and Harvard alum Bill Ackman, and the boisterous Brooklyn hot shot declared a war.”

This came following Sharpton protesting outside Ackman's office on Thursday as the latter threatened to fight Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs.

Fox News host concluded saying, “Firing a DEI hire for plagiarism and antisemitism is a declaration of war in Al's world. Therefore, he is anointing Thursdays as DEI Thursdays. Did he plagiarize TGI Friday's? I'm not sure.”



 

Internet blasts Al Sharpton following racial criticism

Many X users brutally bashed Al Sharpton.

One person wrote, “Given enough time people will always show who they really are. How is it we are still giving Al Sharpton any creditably at all.” Another said, “The ultimate male grifter! What about his alleged back income taxes. I read years ago it was around $4 million. Must be a hell of a lot higher with penalties & interest.”



 



 

An X user simply called out the civil rights leader, “Deceit, Extortion, Improbity (DEI) are al sharton bread and butter.”



 

One more slammed him, “Sharpton is a hypocrite who bashes progressives and praises cops No thanks,” and another said, “Al Sharpton never met a white person he didn't hate or couldn't manipulate.”



 



 

“Al sharpton? Every time i see that piece of garbage one name comes to mind “Tawana brawley” How this loser draws a paycheck is beyond me,” wrote another.
