CUSTER COUNTY, OKLAHOMA: ‘Home Improvement’ star Zachery Ty Bryan told cops he 'never stopped drinking' during his latest arrest for DUI and driving without a license on Friday, October 25, in Oklahoma.

Police approached Bryan on Friday at 6.47 am when the former child actor was allegedly sleeping in the back seat of his vehicle at the time, according to TMZ.

Zachery Ty Bryan arrested for DUI in Oklahoma

Police officers claimed they left Zachery Ty Bryan after briefly conversing with him but ended up pulling him over as he decided to start driving away, per the outlet.

Bryan told officers during the stop that he had been drinking "too much" the night before and added he didn’t "know if he ever stopped" before getting into his car to sleep it off, per the dash cam footage obtained by TMZ.

He also told the officers that he was "running from California right now" because he hated "that place". The officers made Bryan take part in some field sobriety tests before taking him in.

Moreover, Bryan claimed his license was suspended from one of his previous DUI arrests as he admitted to the officer in the car that he had "multiple."

Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested for DUI in February in California

This was not the first time when Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested for DUI. In February 2024, the child actor was arrested for a suspected DUI in California and was booked on charges of felony DUI with three felony priors and misdemeanor contempt of court.

However, he was released the same day on $50,000 bail and had a court hearing scheduled on April 23, per the outlet. Bryan was also charged with two counts of menacing, two counts of assault in the fourth degree, coercion, felony strangulation, harassment, and interfering with making a report after he allegedly strangled his girlfriend in 2020.

The actor later claimed the incident was "blown out of proportion." He said, "We got really loud. We were screaming and because we were in a townhome that had [thin walls], everybody could hear."

He added, "At the end of the day, [the police] throw a bunch of counts at you because they ultimately want you to plead to something. I could’ve fought it … but that’s more stress and drama."

Fans show concern for Zachery Ty Bryan while others troll him for his behavior

Some Zachery Ty Bryan fans on the internet expressed concern for the actor, but he was also trolled by some people who condemned his irresponsible behavior despite his numerous run-ins with the law.

Some online comments read, "Being a child Hollywood star seems detrimental to a person's mental and physical health. Not too many have come out the other side whole," and "Dude is a trainwreck."

A person also stated, "Lock this menace up!" whereas one mentioned, "He’s been a mess for years. Believe he has several DV arrests also."



 

A user also wrote on X, "My goodness what a fall," while one commented, "Probably too drunk to walk after partying all night."
