Human remains discovered scattered across Milwaukee after missing Sade Robinson's car found torched
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN: Human remains were found in a neighborhood on Friday, April 5 and again on Saturday, April 6, less than a week after a human leg was found inside a park in the Milwaukee area.
Around 10 pm on Friday, human body parts were discovered in a nearby neighborhood, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office confirmed.
Around 6.15 pm on Saturday, police were called out once again, this time to a location a few blocks away, in response to reports of more human remains being discovered.
Sade Robinson was last seen on April 1
When the medical examiners arrived, the area was roped off with crime scene tape and secured. "It’s just shocking. What is really going on over here? This neighborhood is supposed to be peaceful," Priscilla Bryant, a resident in the area, told Fox 6.
According to Fox 6, missing woman Sade Robinson's family discovered her blanket—which purportedly featured a photo of her face—on Saturday in a forested area close to the park.
Sade Robinson, 19, was last seen on April 1. The family also informed Fox 6 that on Tuesday night, April 2, Robinson's car was discovered torched in the same neighborhood.
Authorities are investigating three separate incidents
After a human leg was discovered at Warnimont Park in Cudahy on Tuesday, authorities have now looked into three separate incidents that occurred over the weekend.
The leg was found "in or near the water" along Lake Michigan east of the golf course by the pump house. Officials said it was discovered shortly before 5.30 pm.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office's acting chief of staff, James Burnett, previously said the severed leg is being looked into as a possible homicide. He mentioned that an individual of interest was being held.
Although Burnett could attest to the leg's human nature, he said there is currently very little information to disseminate so as not to prejudice the investigation.
The method by which the deputies plan to determine the leg's origin and owner has not been made public. It's unclear whether there's a connection between the three cases of body parts discovered.
