WASHINGTON, DC: Hunter Biden's abandoned 'laptop from hell', which contained evidence of his drug use, influence peddling, and other obscene activity almost four years ago, will be the main focus of the First Son's federal trial on gun charges in June, the New York Post reported.

Notably, the team led by special counsel David Weiss has made it clear that they plan to utilize information from the infamous hard drive as proof against Hunter Biden.

Prosecutor Derek Hines wrote in a scathing filing on Wednesday, May 22, "The defendant’s laptop is real (it will be introduced as a trial exhibit) and it contains significant evidence of the defendant’s guilt."

Moreover, Hines emphasized that "self-authenticating" laptop data will be "introduced with corroborating evidence at trial" and that the special counsel will rely on it.

He further stated that material from Hunter Biden's iCloud, which originated from 'two separate and independent sources' (his iPad and iPhone XR), will be used by prosecutors.

Notably, the information will be used by prosecutors to pursue three charges against Hunter Biden for unlawful firearm possession while under the influence of dangerous narcotics. He entered a not-guilty plea.

Furthermore, Hunter attempted to throw doubt on the laptop's veracity after dropping it off at a Delaware repair shop in April 2019. After attempting unsuccessfully for months to let Hunter know that the laptop was ready to be picked up, store owner John Paul Mac Isaac finally obtained possession of the laptop and hard drive.

However, Mac Isaac notified the FBI as soon as he discovered what was on the laptop, which included recordings of Hunter Biden using crack and having sex with prostitutes and his coworkers, as well as emails exposing dubious financial dealings involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and other first family members.

The federal agents seized the laptop in December 2019, but not before Mac Isaac created a duplicate and provided it to Rudolph Giuliani's attorney Robert Costello in August 2020.
