IShowSpeed wrongly believes GTA 6 protagonist: ‘Michael is back’

During a recent livestream, IShowSpeed displayed considerable excitement while watching the GTA 6 trailer.

However, in his reaction to the protagonists, Speed mistakenly identified Jason as Michael De Santa, enthusiastically shouting, "Michael, Michael is back," during the stream.

For those seeking clarification, the new GTA 6 trailer primarily focuses on Lucia, one of the game's protagonists.

However, she is seen alongside a man, likely Jason, the other protagonist in the upcoming title, featuring a dual-protagonist dynamic inspired by the infamous American robbers Bonnie and Clyde.

GTA fans, familiar with Michael De Santa as the protagonist in Grand Theft Auto V, immediately recognized the confusion in the livestream.

Despite being over a decade old, GTA V remains highly successful, boasting a massive fanbase.

The iconic protagonist trio of Michael, Franklin, and Trevor contributed to the game's enduring popularity, with Michael, portrayed by American actor Ned Luke, standing out as particularly famous.

Upon witnessing IShowSpeed's mistaken identification of the GTA 6 protagonist in the trailer, many viewers took to trolling him and labeling him as 'mad.'

One fan sarcastically remarked, "the fact he got mad when they're gonna release it on 2025," while another called him a "clown." saying, “This [N-word] is a clown.”

Others echoed the sentiment, with one user quoting Speed's exclamation, "Michael is back," accompanied by crying emojis, and another humorously pointing out, "Bro said Michael 😂😂😂😂😂😂."
