Internet backs ex-Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis as she slams Marjorie Taylor Greene for branding Bob Good a 'traitor'

WASHINGTON, DC: Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene recently shared a video of Rep Bob Good “trashing” former President Donald Trump, and also labeled Good a “disloyal fake MAGA Trump traitor.”

Greene faced backlash as people showed their support for Good, and most recently, former Trump lawyer, Jenna Ellis, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share her response to Greene’s take on Good.

Ellis has often shown her support for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and continues to do so, much like Rep. Good, and receives support from the internet for the same.

Jenna Ellis responds to Marjorie Taylor Greene

On X, after Marjorie Taylor Greene shared a video of Rep. Bob Good “caught trashing” former President Donald Trump, Jenna Ellis responded and wrote, “This video literally has @RepBobGood saying he endorsed @RonDeSantis in May.”

She added, “He’s not ‘trashing’ Trump — he is explaining why he supports DeSantis and key issues he has with Trump’s record. He makes some valid points. MTG doesn’t respond, only trashes Good as a ‘disloyal traitor.’”

“I’d say this is beneath MTG, but this is the price of supporting Trump — you have to lie about DeSantis and his supporters,” wrote Ellis.

The former Trump lawyer also added, “No principled conservative would do that. When Trump asked me to trash DeSantis, I told him personally NO. That’s when these types of false attacks and lies from MAGA influencers began against me too. So what? If being “disloyal” to MAGA means being loyal to America and principled, then I’ll always choose America first.”

Internet reacts to Jenna Ellis’ remarks on Bob Good’s clip

Following Jenna Ellis’ remarks on Rep Bob Good, Ron DeSantis, and especially Marjorie Taylor Greene, the internet was quick to respond, as they expressed their agreement with Ellis in the aforementioned statement.

One user wrote, “Jenna, you are a person of principle and we appreciate your honesty.  We need more people like you to take a stand and speak the truth. The trashing of people who don’t bend the knee to Trump needs to stop,” and another wrote, “Love your posts!”

The mention of Greene by users on X did not go amiss as one wrote, “The truth will be known and MTG will fail to bring good men down! Trump’s use of smears, pressure, and compromised surrogates will come back to bite him,” and another wrote, “So @mtgreenee makes a fantastic ad for DeSantis while trashing a fellow Republican congressman. Sounds about right.”

The internet continued to agree with Ellis as one user wrote, “Jenna, I greatly appreciate your integrity. Wish more people would be who they pretend to be,” and another wrote, “Bob Good is my Representative and he’s very very good. MTG is a wack job.”
