NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: James Comer appeared on ‘The Ingraham Angle’ after chairing the chaotic House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, and took a brutal jab at Hunter Biden for leaving the hearing when he was about to be questioned.

During the contempt of Congress hearing, the House Oversight Committee Chairman shared notable moments from Hunter’s unexpected appearance.

According to Comer, a significant juncture in the hearing occurred when Hunter, accompanied by attorneys Abbe Lowell and Kevin Morris, abruptly stood up and exited the room as the microphone was handed over to Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share her conversation with Comer.

Many people on the internet backed Hunter and took a brutal jab at the host and Comer.

James Comer slams Hunter Biden for leaving the hearing

Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham took to X and wrote, “Rep. James Comer: When Hunter was about to be questioned, he left hearing.”

Ingraham tweeted, “Comer: Marjorie Taylor Greene must've spooked Hunter, because he 'ran out of there' when she spoke #ingrahamangle.”

James Comer joined Ingraham to share his viewpoint on Hunter Biden’s appearance at the House Oversight Committee hearing.

He told Ingraham that despite reported assertions by some Democrats that Hunter’s appearance was a publicity victory, the detailed account of the events suggested otherwise.

He said, “He was there for about 15 minutes. [Florida Democrat Jared] Moskowitz was recognized. He said ‘Hunter Biden is here to answer questions’, and then his time expired.”

Comer continued, “I recognized Marjorie Taylor Greene. She was going to ask Hunter Biden questions because Moskowitz said he was there to answer questions. As soon as he realized Marjorie Taylor Greene was going to ask him a question, they ran out of there. They knocked over people on the way out the door."

As Biden and his legal team exited, Greene commented, "Excuse me, Hunter, apparently you're afraid of my words."

Comer pointed to this as evidence that Hunter wasn't present at the hearing to address any questions.

He argued that it was another instance highlighting Hunter’s "arrogance and entitlement that he’s had his entire life.”

He said, “Look, this is an investigation of Joe Biden. It's about what his family did to receive the millions of dollars from our enemies around the world. And we just have simple questions that we need to ask Hunter Biden in a deposition.”

Internet backs Hunter Biden on James Comer's claims

Many X users took a brutal jab at James Comer after he slammed Hunter Biden for leaving the hearing.

One person wrote, “Haaaaaaaaaa.  you people are horrible. he was asked to let him testify and said no.  he asked for a vote and said no.”

Another wrote, “More pathetic lies by Fox. He was denied. We saw it live.”

An X user slammed Comer and said, “Comer is lying again and we all saw it. He refused to question Hunter in public.”

Another said, “Questioned? The committee members were directly asked if they wanted him to testify right there. They said no. You were there, i saw you.”

One more person blasted, “LIARS. We saw with our eyes, we heard with our ears. No such thing happened. Stop trying to gaslight us @RepJamesComer ... we're not buying your 🐂💩.”

Another added, “Yeah, that's not what I watched. Seriously, the audacity to lie straight up about something that literally happened before everyone's eyes. Y'all are good at that though.”
