NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In a scathing critique, civil rights attorney and political commentator Leo Terrell has accused President Joe Biden of continuously insulting Black Americans.

"Joe Biden insults Black Americans everyday: Hey Idiot Joe, stop the monolithic approach towards Black Americans," Terrell exclaimed in his X post, adding, "We have different opinions. Black Americans do not think and act the same way!"

Focusing on what he perceives as Biden's outdated and condescending attitudes, he added, "Joe, you treat Black Americans as if you were an 1855 slave owner! Shameful."

Leo Terrell's past criticisms of Joe Biden

This isn't the first time that Terrell has called out Biden's insults as the civil rights attorney criticized the POTUS in July, 2020, accusing him of being "insulting" to African Americans, as per Fox News.

Terrell claimed that Biden fails to provide meaningful promises of support to underserved African American communities, especially those affected by rising crime rates.

"Joe Biden has insulted every African American by saying if you don’t vote for me, 'you ain’t Black.' I’m Black. I’m not voting for him. He's an insult to every American because people decide on the competency of the candidate – Joe Biden has to help the people in those cities and he’s not doing it. He’s in his basement," Terrell said.

In another instance, the Fox News contributor criticized President Biden's appeal to voters during the 2024 campaign season as "failed."

Terrell made these remarks on 'America Reports', highlighting his dissatisfaction with Biden's approach to connecting with voters.

Biden's long history of challenges with Black Americans

Terrell's claims come after The New York Times reported that Vice President Kamala Harris highlighted her initiatives to close the racial wealth gap in Milwaukee on May 14.

President Biden is set to deliver the commencement address at Morehouse College in Atlanta and speak at an NAACP dinner in Detroit on May 19.

Despite these efforts, Biden faces significant challenges with Black voters, posing a threat to his ability to rebuild the successful coalition from his 2020 victory.

As per The Heritage Foundation, in 2021, President Joe Biden made a series of racially insensitive remarks while discussing the challenges of convincing many Latinos and Black Americans to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

He suggested that Latinos resist vaccinations out of fear of deportation, implying that all Latinos are illegal immigrants, ignoring that over 60 million Latinos are American citizens.

He also referred to them as "Latinx," a term largely rejected by the Latino community.

Additionally, Biden clumsily addressed Black Americans' vaccine hesitancy by referencing historical medical experiments, mistakenly mentioning the Tuskegee Airmen instead of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study.

In May 2020, on Charlamagne Tha God's radio show, Joe Biden controversially told a largely Black audience that if they were unsure whether to vote for him or Trump, then “you ain’t black!”

Later, in August 2020, Biden told Black and Hispanic journalists that, unlike the African American community, the Latino community is "incredibly diverse" with different attitudes, sparking further criticism.

The internet was split as Terrell accused Biden of daily insults directed at Black Americans.

One viewer said, "Reeks of racism."

Another said, "Well said Leo."

One viewer noted, "He has always been a racist."

A follower observed, "Please provide proof and cite your sources, Uncle Leo."

One comment read, "You act like your getting payed for it."

Another asked, "Show me video evidence that he does this?"

"Butter Biscuit kinda getting old Go to the next talking point," explained one person.
