WASHINGTON, DC: Former government official who served briefly in the Trump administration as a Deputy Assistant to the President, Sebastian Gorka, recently interviewed congressman Matt Gaetz.

Gorka thanked Gaetz for bringing in a new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, after the historic ousting of Kevin McCarthy.

In this interview, Gaetz also believed that the democrats and media were “greenlighting” an “assassination” when it came to former President Donald Trump.

Gaetz also mentioned the ongoing and popular comparison of Trump to Hitler in some media outlets.

Matt Gaetz talks about ‘Democrats and their hacks’

On X, Rep Matt Gaetz wrote, “Democrats and their hacks in media seem to be green-lighting an assassination of President Trump. They’re trying to justify violence against him and his supporters. It’s sickening and un-American.”

With this, Gaetz attached his interview with Sebastian Gorka, where Gorka said, “Could you react, it seems to me the Democrats were issued their talking points over the weekend, and they can’t defend Biden anymore, and so all they are saying is: Donald Trump, nazi nazi nazi, fascism, dictatorship, it looks like it’s their campaign platform for 2024.”

Gaetz responded, “I think it’s even worse, I think they are green-lighting assassination. You know, when you hear people talk about Trump as Hitler and some sort of authoritarian tyranny, they are trying to justify violence against him, and violence against his supporters, and it is sickening and un-American, I condemn it.”

Internet reacts to Matt Gaetz’s remarks on Donald Trump

After Matt Gaetz shared his views on how violence against Donald Trump and his supporters is being “justified” the internet was quick to respond.

One user wrote, “Oh stop with that already. You’re being ridiculous,” and another said, “Wow, keep listening to this whack jobs. These people don’t belong in Congress they belong in jail.”

“That's some major level of gaslighting,” wrote one user, and another said, “Stop being a fucking moron. No one ever said that. Jesus Christ @RepMattGaetz”

The internet continued to weigh in as one user wrote, “You are both irresponsible fear mongers. Nobody is greenlighting assassination,” and another wrote, “This is a lie and projection!”
