LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel has never shied away from poking fun at political figures, and when it comes to Donald Trump, he's often relentless.

But on a recent episode of his show, Kimmel took aim at Trump with a new arsenal of material, courtesy of David Pecker's testimony.

Pecker's testimony turns into comedic gold for Kimmel as he takes aim at Trump's unusual allies

Pecker, the former publisher of the National Enquirer, appeared in court and provided testimony that was ripe for comedic gold. Kimmel wasted no time in dissecting Pecker's revelations and turning them into a scathing critique of Trump's character and behavior.

Kimmel kicked off his monologue by introducing Pecker with his trademark wit, saying, "Today was Trump's old pal and former publisher of the National Enquirer, a guy named David Pecker who looks like the man on the Pringles can was now dating your mom."

Pecker's description of his "mutually beneficial relationship" with Trump provided ample fodder for Kimmel's comedic jabs.

"It's weird the only faithful relationship Trump's ever been in is with the National Enquirer," Kimmel quipped.

"But think about how insane it is that our president had a mutually beneficial relationship with the National Enquirer. There are only two people on the planet who can say that: Donald Trump and Bigfoot."

Pecker's bombshell testimony exposes alleged story suppression tactics

Pecker's testimony took a bizarre turn when he revealed that he paid $30,000 to a doorman at Trump Tower to kill a story alleging that Trump had fathered an illegitimate child with a maid.

Kimmel couldn't resist adding his own twist to the tale. "Trump says it never happened. Also, it was triplets and the maid was Cindy Crawford. But it never happened," he joked.

But perhaps the most damning revelation from Pecker's testimony was his admission that he served as Trump's "eyes and ears" for negative stories about him. Kimmel seized on this admission to highlight Trump's hypocrisy.

"Donald Trump, who calls the New York Times fake news, was literally generating fake news, admittedly with his friend David Pecker," Kimmel remarked incredulously.

The late-night host didn't hold back in ridiculing Trump's penchant for fabricating stories to serve his own interests. "Everything he accuses anyone else of is something he actually did," Kimmel observed, drawing attention to the irony of Trump's behavior.

Social media reacts to Trump's legal drama

Social media erupts with commentary as Trump's courtroom battles unfold. From criticisms of his violation of the gag order to jabs at his perceived demeanor, online users express a mix of disdain, sarcasm, and incredulity.

One said, "I prefer my presidents who don’t violate their gag order just to get another and another one which only leads to more crying about pointless stuff."

One user wrote, "The courtroom is kept cold cos of his stench. If the heat is turned up, that waft will get unbearable."

Another added, "Maybe if he had PAID HIS TAXES the State would have had a little extra money to add HVAC to courtrooms."

One user replied, "Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up!"

Another wrote, "They're keeping him in a courthouse during his criminal trial?....crazy! Ugh."
