Drew Barrymore and Oprah Winfrey discussed 'audience' on the show
Many drew similarities with Drew caressing her dogs who walk on her show’s set all the time. “Something that I learned about you, because I didn't know this detail was that you would spend time with the audience outside of the show you were filming. And one thing that I've done is spend time with the audience every day. And I had felt guilty for it,” Drew said while performing the awkward gesture on her guest.
Winfrey explained that she does that ‘every day’ since it was necessary. She then moved her body away from Barrymore. “My crew used to be like, "Oh my god, how much time is she going to spend talking to that audience?! Would she please let the audience go so we can let the next audience in?!"' the self-made mogul said while taking her arm back.
Oprah then lauded Drew for doing her episodes without an audience during Corona pandemic and tried to get her right hand free from Drew by using her both hands.
It received a strong reaction on social media, where viewers saw the promo of Drew’s new episode as cringe, and invading personal space of Oprah, reports Daily Mail.
