WASHINGTON, DC: Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg contended on Wednesday, February 14, that Joe Biden is so sharp that during a conversation, he needed to consult an Amtrak specialist to comprehend the President's questions fully.

Despite mounting public concern, Buttigieg's remark represents the latest attempt on the part of Biden's administration to reassure the public about the president's mental capacity.

In a Politico article, Buttigieg said, "He was asking such detailed questions that we actually had to dial in another expert from Amtrak to get to some of the things he was asking about."

Though he ran against Biden in the 2020 Democratic primary on the platform that the party needed new leadership, Buttigieg suddenly found himself supporting Biden.

Last week, Vice President Kamala Harris also came out in favor of Biden, saying that over the "countless hours" she had lately spent with the President, he was "in front of and on top of it all."

"The most difficult part about a meeting with President Biden is preparing for it because he is sharp, intensely probing, and detail-oriented, and focused," he said.

On 'Meet the Press', the national co-chair of the Biden campaign offered more support to the president. "I'm telling you this guy's tough, he's smart, he's on his game," Landrieu said.

A user also commented, "Bro he doesn’t have dementia when you aren’t looking, come on bro believe me please" while one added, "Not in this administration it doesn’t, you are pathetic and desperate."
