NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: As the election year looms, President Joe Biden faces concerning vulnerabilities within key segments of the Democratic base as former president Donald Trump has garnered support among Hispanic voters and young people, indicating a potential erosion of traditional party allegiance.

A noteworthy shift is observed among Black voters, with one in five expressing intentions to support a third-party candidate come November.

Following this news, Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X, formerly known as Twitter to showcase her support for ex-POTUS.

Many X users took a brutal jab at Biden, calling him “puppet.”

Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham took to X and wrote, “Good poll for Trump.”

Her tweet featured an article from USA Today titled, “A fraying coalition: Black, Hispanic, young voters abandon Biden as election year begins.”

In the article, it was reported that in the lead-up to the upcoming election year, President Joe Biden is facing concerning signs of weakness within crucial segments of the Democratic base.

Notably, Donald Trump has gained an edge among Hispanic voters and young people, contributing to Biden's struggle to solidify support.

The latest USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll reveals a tight race, with Trump holding a slight lead at 39 per cent compared to Biden's 37 per cent while 17 per cent express support for an unspecified third-party candidate.

Biden's challenges extend to a noteworthy one in five Black voters, who now indicate a willingness to back a third-party candidate in the November elections.

This shift in support within a key demographic that played a pivotal role in Biden's 2020 victory poses a significant hurdle for the president.

The poll results underscore Biden's difficulties in uniting the coalition that propelled him to the presidency, with 39 per cent favoring Trump and 37 per cent supporting Biden, while 17 per cent opt for an unnamed third-party candidate.

When specific seven candidates are mentioned by name, Trump's lead expands slightly to 3 percentage points, holding at 37 per cent to Biden's 34 per cent.

Interestingly, independent candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr emerges as the frontrunner among third-party options, commanding 10 per cent of the support.

These findings highlight the significant political challenges that Biden must navigate in his bid for a second term this year.

In this regard, Michelle Derr, a Democrat rooting for Biden said, “I think he’s done a reasonable sound job, but it’s not been a ‘wow’ administration. For me, it's disappointing that we have two old white guys in this race again. I want to look forward to the future."

Internet calls Joe Biden a ‘puppet’

Following Laura Ingraham’s support for Donald Trump as Joe Biden suffered a drastic dip in his coalition votes, many people on the internet also slammed the president.

One person wrote, “EVERYBODY NEEDS TO BAIL ON HIS A**!!” and another added, “Guess Pinocchio Joe's promise to pay off student debt backfired. Time to get out the old checkbook and try something new.”

An X user simply slammed Biden admin saying, “Biden's handlers had to have realized their base would erode after such destructive policies to society and the economy.  What on earth is their long game plan?”

One more person shared a similar view, “Everyone is abandoning this puppet and his administration,” and another wrote, “Who in their right mind would vote for the idiot we have.”

“Even dumb young voters can see how senile & corrupt Joe Biden is,” trolls another user.
