LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Celebrated songwriter Diane Warren was left stunned after Oscar presenter Ariana Grande skipped the names of the nominees for Best Original Song.

The ‘7 Rings’ crooner then declared Billie Eilish as the winner for her hit track ‘What Was I Made For?’ in ‘Barbie.'

Perez Hilton reported that eyewitnesses noticed Warren throw a ‘mini-tantrum’ when Ariana zipped through the list of nominees, including ‘I’m Just Ken’ by Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, ‘It Never Went Away,’ by Jon Batiste, Dan Wilson, ‘Wahzhazhe’ by Scott George, and of course Diane’s ‘The Fire Inside’ from ‘Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.’

There was more to it, as Eva Longoria, who directed ‘Flamin’ Hot’ noticed the discrepancy and walked out.

Diane later shared a post on her Instagram page duly listing the name of the nominees

“They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and hoping for a different result,” Warren told THR earlier. “So, I guess I’m certifiably insane.”

Her most commendable works include ‘Because You Loved Me,’ from the romantic drama ‘Up Close and Personal,’ ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,’ for Armageddon, ‘When You Believe’ in 1999, ‘Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.’

“I was never a popular kid — no one ever invited me to anything,” she said.

“Now I get to go to the coolest party in the world. I actually stay up all night and count the seconds until the nominations are announced. I don’t ever lose the excitement about this.”

Internet trolls Diane Warren for throwing a tantrum

Several fans called out Warren's 'tantrum' and supported Ariana while announcing the winner of Best Original Song.

"Ariana wasn‘t the only one who skipped other nominees, it probably wasn‘t in the script nor required, wrote one fan.

The second said, "What’s the point of saying the nominees everybody knew Billie was winning."

"Girl you’re 67… you probably been around long enough where this isn’t the first or second time this has happened. you’ll live" a user said.

"Lmao Wanted that second place so bad" shared one on X.

Another user trolled Diane saying, "girl its not that serious… stirring up drama for what"

One user said, "It's disappointing to hear about Diane Warren's reaction. Awards ceremonies should be about celebrating talent and camaraderie, not moments of frustration."

One user chimed in, "She should chill It's not that deep Her name wouldn't be omitted if she actually won"
