Jack Nicholson poses with daughter Lorraine in rare holiday photo amid dementia speculations
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson made a rare appearance on social media when his daughter shared a picture of him over the holidays, Radar Online reported on Friday, January 3.
According to the publication, the 87-year-old has been reclusive over the past few years as concerns over his health increased among fans.

Taking to the social media platform on Instagram, Lorraine Nicholson shared a photo gallery showcasing moments from the holiday celebration at her home, with the Academy Award winning actor featuring among them.

The father-daughter duo was seen sitting together in one of the snaps with their arms around each other. They were apparently at the study of their home, with Jack wearing a striped buttoned-up shirt for the occasion.
Other pictures showed Lorraine with her brother Raymond, their cousin Duke Nicholson (Jack's grandson), and Duke's girlfriend Devon Lee Carlson.

Recent concerns about Jack Nicholson's health
A year ago, people close to the actor reportedly claimed that he was “living like a recluse.” He had not worked in a movie since 2010 as well as stopped appearing in public.
Sources told Radar Online that Nicholson "doesn't leave his house anymore" and his "mind is gone,” speculating that he might be suffering from dementia.
The actor was last seen in public in May 2023 at a game of the Los Angeles Lakers. At present, he is residing in a secluded Beverly Hills mansion which he bought from the late actor Marlon Brando in 2005.
"He's made it clear his home is his castle, but people just wish he'd step outside and let them know he's okay,” shared a source.
"Jack stays in contact with some relatives, especially Ray, his protege, whom he’s very proud of, but his days of socializing are long behind him," the source added.
Nicholson’s lifestyle mirrored Brando’s in later years, the source added, saying, "Brando died a virtual recluse after leading such a colourful life, and Jack’s friends are drawing the comparisons. His kids will visit, but they’re his only connection to the world. It's like he doesn't want to face reality anymore and that’s just sad.”
