NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Brittany Aldean, wife of country music star Jason Aldean, shared that she looked forward to "great things" happening under the leadership of President-elect Donald Trump, during an interview with Fox News Digital on Monday, November 18.

According to the publication, Brittany and her husband have been longtime supporters of the GOP nominee and were steadfast in their political beliefs, even in the face of mounting criticism ahead of the general election.

On Monday, the 36-year-old was at Boot Barn and Wonderwest in Nashville for a celebrity charity event. She is known to use her platform to support multiple such charities that are close to her, such as Muttnation & Lucky Break Rescue, Heroes and Horses, and Mustangs of America Foundation.

Brittany Aldean's message after Trump's election victory

Brittany Aldean told Fox she was overjoyed to see people "coming around" after Trump's decisive victory over his Democratic rival, Kamala Harris.

"We were very supportive on the campaign trail. We've actually been supportive for years and years and years," she stated. "And we received a ton of backlash initially. But I think everybody's coming around and things are – the tide is turning, and it's really awesome to see since we've been on that boat for a long time."

"We know Trump personally, and he's just such an awesome man, but he's obviously going to do really great things for this country along with Elon (Musk) and RFK (Jr)," she continued. "I mean, there's just such a slew of awesome people right now that are, you know, going to help us all out, and we're all ready for a change, and we cannot wait for next year."

Brittany Aldean on being a proud supporter of Donald Trump

The celebrity couple have faced a fair share of negativity for their unwavering support of the conservative candidate, reported Fox News.

Brittany hit back at the hares with an Instagram post on Election Day, writing, "Even after all the media bashing, business deals lost, relationship changes, being left out of music industry events and multiple attempts to vilify our character - I wouldn’t change a thing."

"I support (Donald Trump) and am proud to say that I voted for him and the promise for a better future," she added.

The couple has not let critism come in the way of their public lifestyle. Attending Boot Barn and Wonderwest's charity event and fashion show on Monday, Brittany said, "It's important for me to be here for many reasons."

"I mean, I love fashion. And then you mix that in with charity. I don't feel like it gets much better than that. And I'm just happy to be here representing country music in a way and fashion in kind of an influencing, you know, hybrid. And so I just feel honored that I was invited today."
